Where should the BOI P/E be after a €1.2B PBT?

Gross profit per share €1.12, as I said earlier, not sure what the BOI tax situation is? 60% gives €0.67 before and depending on taxes / bank leaves / charges etc.

I take it that BOI are still able to book current taxes against previous losses? There was grumbling about it from Shane Ross & SF but I didn’t think it happened?

According to the Business Post, Cantor Fitzgerald are forecasting €1.1B profit and 0.19c dividend.

BOI BD would do well to start thinking about the shareholders now and pass on these rate rises properly, to hell with public opinion! SF are going to bring back mortgage interest relief anyway!

Todays RNS shows Massachusetts Financial Services Company have raised their stake by 25% to 5.06% overall.

I looked it up….DCA is Dollar Cost Averaging. (Buying a set amount of stock at regular intervals regardless of the stock price - a swings and roundabouts approach). Glad to see it working out.

They got their forecast ****ways and then corrected it to the current share price, genius stuff!

Pang, same as that, glad to be getting out from a tricky spot on these. Sold some today @€9.50 which gave a nice cherry on top of the €8 I needed. Not to say that that isn’t more to them both in future Value and Dividends, but had to take some money off the table.

A 20c Dividend when the SP was around €6.00 was giving a 3.33% yield, with the SP hitting €10 it would obviously fall to 2%, might the mandarins maintain it at 3.33% and go to 33c…..probably not!!

Well the €9 thread seemed to work so why not?

Will be cashing in some next week, it’s nice to be getting a bump above the €8 that I was hoping for, just thinking about selling 10% less or stick with the plan and have a nice holiday with the extra cash…

Still nice problem to have from where we were a few years ago!

I would not be rushing to buy at above €8.00, if an “insider “ is doing so - better days may be ahead?

I will be selling some shortly, prior commitments etc. However I am delighted the way this has gone in the past few weeks and perhaps floating back up to where it should be?

Anyone know what the BOI NAV is atm?
