Using our age old basic formula for calculating NPV against that $24.16 billion, I arrive at a NPV of circa $1.2 billion or £957 million divided by 718 million shares, that's £1.33 per share.
Right now, fair value should be 25% of that, so 33p would be about right.

I don't need to tell you what's happened to the share price over the same period.

Not sure if there's another stock out there, where the disconnect between asset value and company value is so staggering , if so, who?

That's not correct, they do know the updated 2018 drill results/PFS, why they refusing to release them?

There are a number of posts that make legitimate comments and there are comments made without evidence.
But it matters not with regard to basic info that should be communicated. Whether there are ongoing discussions or not, whether bound by NDA or not, there is no reason whatsoever, stopping RY informing the market of the updated 2018 drill results/PFS. That cannot be defended, no matter what side of the RY fence you sit on.

The sp needs some impetus, good news to stop this constant value erosion. The BOD have a fiduciary duty to protect shareholders interests. IF, something is going on in the background , then any deal being discussed will be around the prevailing sp, so by not releasing fundamental info that in turn would boost the sp, works against shareholders best interests.

5 x current sp is only 9p, don't lose sight of what could happen.
Imo, RY has done a supreme job finding the stuff, but is now massively out of his depth, he's a geologist not a deal maker.

Given the 12 month high is 2.53p, it is somewhat disappointing to see the sp below that, particularly in view of all recent positive news flow.
But, the market does know the price of everything, sadly tho, it knows the value of nothing.

Not a chance will this go for £1, for so many fundamental reasons.
But let's not use fundamentals for now, just the slightest whiff of a rumour that A.N. Other is in the Doctor's office, not even the rumour itself, the spivs will know before us pesky pi's and the touch paper will be well and truly set ablaze. Even with all the known knowns, known unknowns and unknown unknowns, you would think the management team could have delivered a better value against the backdrop of the above.

Yesterday there was 153,420 tonnes in the LME and the price was $13,112 mt or $5,95/lb.
On 15/02/2013, there was 153,480 tonnes in the LME and the price was $18,250 mt or $8,28/lb.
In 2013 there was no EV revolution taking place.

Interestingly, Norilsk latest presentation for 2019 states, when stock levels fall to 2 weeks global consumption, then they see it as critical.
Current consumption, based on their numbers is, 46,500 tonnes per week, so critical level is circa 93,000 tonnes.
The live warrants closed yesterday at, 103,266 tonnes. I'm not sure whether they benchmark critical level, solely against LME stock. But it's not hard to see critical level arriving real soon.

Seems quite a categorical statement. Will be good news for nickel price.
