Gold oz, inground value.17 Feb 2020 07:31
Is very subjective at this juncture.
SK, has his opinion, which is based on $100 oz, that would equate to approx 3.15p for 5.5 moz.
That's too simplistic for me, it does not ascribe any value to other licenses with already proven gold deposits.
Neither does it allow for the USP factor, ie on Telfers doorstep and Telfers insatiable desire to consume huge amounts of high grade ore.
In addition, different deposits include many other variables, $100 oz is probably a minimum, $200 oz is not unreasonable for NC's desire to feed the beast.
5.5 moz may also be way out, but @ $200 oz, it should be closer to 6.5p right now.
You also must factor in this, if Havieron contains 20 moz and NC acquire 70% for $65 million, that equates to about $21 oz inground cost to them, so if they pay $200 oz for the other 6.5 moz, then that values our 30% at $1.3 billion.
NC essentially gets Havieron for $1.365 billion, so technically, they pay $39 oz average inground for the lot, based on 20 moz @ $200 oz, this does not stop a market value of $200 oz based on many compelling variables.
