News due by end of month (last trading day is Friday 30th) if it meets or exceeds expectations I'd expect a big move upwards which will make low 80s look like a bargain

Admiral70, What other fund is out there that gives you access to these types of Companies? None, simple as that, this is the only way in and when word spreads there will be an avalanche of buys.

Kev, at the time I wrote people were complaining that they couldn’t buy. I’m making a wider point that small investors will be served last when big trades are going through. The recent example I referred to was SNG when trial news dropped, there was no possibility of buying for the first hour. Similar could happen here, I respect that everyone has their own strategy, mine is to take a position and hold ahead of news.

I did warn of this on 23rd Aug - PIs have to buy ahead of news if they want to make money, no good trying to get in afterwards, you’ll be back of the queue.

Seems like those who sold on fears of going private didn’t buy back in after the U-turn. I imagine the money from those sales have gone into other exciting investment opportunities. I hoped our SP would spring back but events have conspired against us! Long-term prospects still very positive.
