Really good if we can get the name changed and align the brand prior to the launch of .London (noted below is the sunrise starting) which will be a big news generator in this country (we saw how it was just when the contract was signed) Sounds like that is going to happen if we are getting the details in early March.

What I like about this is two things: 1) Wedding Websites are big business - it's a one of cost that people are willing to make to have a website for their wedding - this is additional to the normal business use you would expect with a TLD 2) Again only small players going to private auction - big players could be waiting for the ICANN news on March 7th updating auction rules 3) .wedding would have been in Auction 1 - good to be going for TLDs in the early ICANN auctions because if you lose and withdraw before going to ICANN auctions you get a bigger refund (okay we won this one so it doesn't apply (and .green was auction 6)

Oh - and also the end of the Sunrise periods for .CEO and .KIWI both Launching in the summer. Thoughts - gradual rise (with downs as well as ups) for the next 5 months, before the real change in the SP happens. Should get a good idea from the full year results what this company is going to be worth going forward when all TLDs are up and running and the revenue is flowing in.

Based on the previously announced list of ICANN Auctions TLDH have a strong showing early on. Auction 1: .dog (google in this one), .wedding, .eco, .tech (google again) Auction 2: .coupon (Amazon), .site, .cpa, .vip, .blog, .app, .home, .gay Assuming ICANN hit the June target for first auction, then the second in July, it will be agreat summer as that times nicely with the launch of .London.

All, Didn't have much discussion of this last week (apologies if we did and I have missed it) a few key points I picked out: - New ICANN Auction rules to be confirmed 7th March - Invitations to auctions send out in March - ICANN Singapore session on auctions will happen 23rd-27th March - June 2014 is target for first ICANN auction Having June 2014 as the target for the first auction will really put pressure on people to decide to go to private auction or not. Lets see what comes out of hte auction rules annoucement on 7th March, but if they remain largely unchanged then it will emphasise to companies why private auction is the better route - and better to get that done before ICANN auctions (as you get more money back if you withdraw applications prior to ICANN Auction)

Yes I agree, logically for the strategy to work you have to be looking at doing multiple deals for companies that do compliment each other, no point in just making that one deal for a company which then doesn't fit in with anything else going forward. I'm sure news will come in time.

I believe they said initially there will be a period where it is reservered for London businesses (basically the sunrise period) then it will open up to anyone. I would doubt they would stop any company opening up a domain .London.. cash is king as they say.

Next 3 months I would say. Bigger rises after that though when we get the revenues and London Launch.

As we get further down the road with gTLD contention it could be of strategic advantage to not release auction results, our competitors only have to read the last few RNS to know how much cash we have to spend, keeping it quiet about having more / less for auctions going forward would not surprise me.

Sorry to be blunt about but, buy it's your money you are investing so you need to do your own research. Look at how many posts / people sign off with (DYOR).

We definately weren't at 15.25 on Friday afternoon - so for me they have to be buys. Very large delayed buys. Always good to see.

on . Website TLDH never owned it - they were one of the people who applied to have .Website which went to private auction, which TLDH lost. TLDH received $2.4m (on average - their were two tlds in that auction) from the winner of that auction.

On .London specifically they would not be able to sell it off as they are only in a partnership agreement with London & Partners who do the marketing for London (not sure if this includes the City of London or just London - doesn't make too much of a difference in this case). TLDH provide the infrastructure to let people set up a website on the .London TLD. So with .London specifically we could never sell it off. Hope that helps with that part of the question.

Reading back on Buzzards posts he didn't actually say the Applicant auction's (a company) auction had been postponed he said that ICANN were giving an Applicant (as in all applicants for TLDs) update on Friday. That will be a good one to watch as I pressume they are going to give an update on what they are going to do with their own auctions following the feedback received on the draft schedule / rules.

Yeah being up 50% from the start of the week would be pretty good ;)

You don't get the full application fee back if you lose at the last resort auction - another reason driving companies towards private auctions.

Lets not forget that we don't own .London, we are just the registry / infrastructure provider behind it. As yet we don't know the terms of that arrangement, but we won't be getting all the money.

Registrations / sunrise period kicking off 29th April, launch 29th July? Should put us in a great revenue generating position for this year when you factor in the others we know are going live this year!
