Greatland Gold, Wishbone Gold and Gunsynd Plc - The new gold Powerhouse in London and Ladies-in-waiting.
£1.25 BILLION and RISING!
Greatland Gold Plc (GGP:LN) was something I wrote up on 19th September when it was punching through £1 billion valuation for the first time. Today the journey for them continues with a value today of £1.25 billion after Gervaise Heddle and his board achieved a deal nothing short of a master stoke of strategy when they signed a new deal with Newcrest Mining a week ago. Brilliant deal! This paves the way for Greatland potentially moving a lot higher over time.
I originally bought into GGP at 1.7p (now 33p) on the basis of the initial Havieron drill results. Back then people were postulating that this was a "bullseye" type gold/copper deposit centring around a single, but strong and co-incident magnetic and gravity target starting at around 400m depth. This target was cut in half by a so called post-mineralised North-South dolerite dyke. And the rest is history.....
Havieron was originally a gold and copper deposit, but as drilling continues at pace with their Joint Venture heavyweight partners Newcrest Mining, the gold mineralisation has expanded vastly in the north-west breccia zone and now the massive Eastern breccia, both of which are vast in size and mainly gold rich with lowish grades of copper.
Now here's the best bit IMHO.
THE NEW MINERALISED FRONTIER!
The post mineralised Dolorite dyke, that cuts the Havieron deposit in half, may well turn out to be they key to all of this treasure trove. Why? It demonstrates the massive structural weakness in the area that allowed this massive N-S structure to appear. This structure runs for many kilometres north south and there will be repeat structures.
342m at 2 g/t gold and 0.1% copper in the Havieron Eastern breccia is nothing short of outstanding anywhere in the world. And nobody knew it was there until now.
These mineralised breccia inter-spotted with high grade copper/gold bullseye targets could well exist all the way along this post-mineralisation Dolerite dyke. Probably the reason why Newcrest desperately wanted to do a new JV with GGP on that smallish block to the north of Artemis Resources' massive 605 sq km tenement that surrounds Havieron.
There are now also many global eyes on what Artemis are up to on their ground, as they have around 20km plus of this Dolerite dyke and lots of bullseye magnetic/gravity targets to the north of Havieron and many more on other structures.
The great thing about GGP in the expectations in the coming months on how big can this Havieron monster gets? No need for any big share capital dilution event right now with a big placing to carry their way under the Newcrest JV, because Gervaise and team fortuitously secured a $50m loan from Newcrest last week to help with their share of Havieron development expenses.
Will GGP get to £2 billion market capitalisation? Hope so! Only time will tell. But
