The sp here is highly dependent on the oil price, and even with tensions in the ME oil is only around $80.

The gas deal will have no impact on the sp. Unless the situation in the ME intensifies, RD will have to pull something special out to get this moving, otherwise it will be a long year for the longs.

TLWs two JV partners walked away from the Kenya deal without any provision for their share of $2B expenses to be paid incrementally once oil production begins.

Possible spanners - relinquishment of Kenya, and a tax dispute that is at arbitration.
