Here in Scotland, strangely, we are still having a housing boom, albeit beginning to level off value wise, but still shifting quickly.

From TW perspective, I like their land banking, if you look to the future value that could generate it's about £60billion in sales. I think this is a pretty safe investment with a longer term view and get the lowest price you can.

I do understand that line of thought. I just am of a different outlook that they are not in terminal decline, they are in a period of restructuring. You are correct though the press has become stale and in a lot of cases some somewhat biased.

I understand this isn't a popular stock due to investors panicking about declining hard sales and digital revenue struggles. Surely if youtubers can create revenue streams, a large media company can. I can't see a world without journalists and press, it's just changing format. Music didn't stop when vinyl records changed to CD and then to Spotify, the industry adapted. I think this is wildly undervalued, especially with the pension costs due to reduce massively.

It is simply not enough people know about this yet, need mainstream news, social media (not just LinkedIn & reddit) - needs to be everywhere on Instagram, facebook, X and on investment pages. Their PR/media should be pumping info out, feeding these pages with articles, info, updates. Everything is too lax currently. Political parties are making a better job and most of what they're saying is #@&£. Feed, feed, feed and that isn't happening quickly or enough currently.

Interesting to see so many comments on it. JM does seem to be putting plenty investment, energy, time and commitment into it. I've only recently come across Reach Plc, it's incredible how many folk don't have it on their radar. I am building it within my portfolio. There is no question this is grossly undervalued. I appreciate paper copy sales are on the decline but journalism and local press is not disappearing anytime soon, reformatting yes. It seems a highly profitable and cash rich business. The MC does not reflect the profitable business here at all. To me the SP should be about £1 without too much issue.

And California Cultured I think is starting selling products also.

It's a very exciting year.

It is frustrating, however not the best geopolitical environment. It will come. I've managed to buy a few more this morning. I think the second half of this year will be more interesting. Case of hold or top up and see how these product launches go with a few more companies commercialising along the way. Exciting year ahead.

I can't get my head around this. First they blamed hot weather, then over expansion, now fat jabs. If fat jabs affect Greggs sales so much in the UK, surely Mcds and alike would be harder affected globally?
