RE: Historic PE 20 current PE 119 Jul 2025 07:35
Good morning, I had only just begun buying Greggs shares at about £20 thinking they were under valued then. So I sold some other holdings when the price dipped and it's now onenof my larger holdings for a couple of reasons. Primarily, I'm not bothered about weather influences, this is a very British subject and nothing to worry about going forward. As for expansion/saturation debate. My thought is that it appears to be overlooked, or just not mentioned, that not only are they increasing the number of shops, they are increasing the size of current ones. In my local town we've had a Greggs as long as I can remember in the same location, now they are drastically up sizing to allow for an inside cafe, this opens a larger market for those wanting to sit in, which currently a lot of Greggs are take away only. There product line is forever adapting also to suit buyer demands.
Im very bullish on this stock, along with a nice dividend.
