As you can imagine, it really depends on how efficient FDBK can be early on and what kind of margins they can achieve. If they hit that £8 million revenue trigger, then to estimate the potential share price, we’d need to make some assumptions about net profit margins.

Let’s say they operate at a net margin of 15% (which would be solid for a tech-focused AIM company)—that would give them around £1.2 million in net profit.

With the average P/E ratio on the LSE AIM All-Share index sitting around 25x, that could imply a market cap of roughly £30 million.

Those are just numbers, but in my opinion, there’s also an X factor that you just can’t model in today’s hyped markets. If a small company like FDBK starts gaining serious attention, investor sentiment can push the valuation way beyond the fundamentals — maybe even 2–3× that base case. So the upside could be significantly higher if the story catches fire.

That said, it’s all wishful thinking until they start landing real contracts.

As frustrating as Tom’s last LinkedIn post may have seemed, if we take a step back and look at the broader picture, it actually reflects something important.

Yes, in the short term, priorities like elective recovery and workforce stabilization are clearly in the spotlight. But here’s the key point: none of this can be achieved without human resources, and those aren’t something you can scale up with money alone. Medical professionals don’t grow on trees — and current signals suggest we won’t see any major acceleration in professional immigration either.

This means the system has only one real path forward: rationalize workflows, reduce unnecessary burdens, and fully embrace what modern technology can offer, innovation is no longer optional — it’s essential.

If this doesn’t happen, the NHS won’t just be facing a funding crisis — it’ll be facing even worse workforce crisis that no amount of money can fix.

Tom recently posted this on LinkedIn. Interesting read — but you can sense some frustration about the near-term outlook.

“The 10 Year Plan is an exciting vision, outlining some great aspirations for the NHS, many of which we support and can deliver through our technology. If only 50% of what is in the plan is delivered in the next decade, it’ll be a big step forward. It will take an enormous amount of prioritisation and consistency to bring this vision to life.

The reality is that near term, in the here and now, things are largely unchanged. The focus remains on elective recovery — the only health priority in the Prime Minister’s milestones — and workforce productivity, where it needs to be. We expect these areas will likely be the main recipients of the recent Spending Review, given the national urgency to resolve them and that the aims of the 10 Year Plan will likely fall to subsequent fiscal events to deliver.

As a UK business, we must deliver for the country today and will continue to focus on the immediate system needs, to deliver high impact improvements for patients and clinicians as quickly as possible. We must also look to the future and it is good to see that we align to both near-term and long-term priorities for the government. We look forward to delivering for the UK both in the near and long term as a partner to the NHS of today and the NHS of tomorrow.

Logically—or maybe just wishful thinking—Tom’s silence could actually be a good sign.

It might mean he’s deep in final negotiations and doesn’t want to risk saying anything before deals are officially signed. Would make sense not to jeopardise anything by speaking too soon, especially if we’re talking about sensitive NHS contracts.

That said, I do agree—it would be reassuring to hear more from him about how Bleepa fits into the 10-Year Plan narrative. Hopefully, actions will speak louder (for the first time in years) than words soon.

Recently, there’s been a wave of positive sentiment here, which is great—but let’s challenge ourselves to look at things from the opposite angle.

Let’s take a realistic (or even pessimistic) view for a moment - what if Feedback doesn’t secure any NHS contracts—zero.

Now, in that scenario, can anyone point to a company or product that’s genuinely better or more aligned with what the NHS is aiming for?

I’ll admit—I’m biased as a Feedback investor. But when you compare what Feedback is offering with what’s laid out in the upcoming NHS 10-Year Plan, they seem to align almost perfectly. It feels like a textbook case of “solution meets need.”

In a rational world, when a customer has a clear need and a provider offers an exact-fit solution, there really isn’t a more logical decision than to go with it.

Very interesting. Phoenix Energy is moving forward with plans for a second plant in Wilseyville, California, which will serve as a sibling plant to the Northfork facility. In their crowdfunding paper, they mention that the Northfork plant is expected to be commissioned in Q3 2025, with the new Wilseyville plant slated to go online in Q3 2026. While I know that the commissioning date for Northfork has been pushed back multiple times, it would be highly unusual for Phoenix Energy to proceed with the launch of a second plant if the first one ended up being a complete disaster or failure. This summer is shaping up to be quite interesting.

Just watched the presentation, and I have to say, it was one of the best I’ve seen in a while. The product itself is solid, and what stands out is the timing—it couldn’t be more perfect.

But the big question remains—can they finally deliver on their promises and land the contracts?

Overall, it was a positive presentation, so I decided to top up my position today.

A confluence of trends has made it a more exciting time than ever to be in the Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage space (BECCS). This Friday, at the LLNL Roads to Removal symposium on the beautiful UC Merced campus, our Phoenix team sat in the audience and listened with excitement as scientists and researchers from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) validated with science and data, the importance of our work. 🙌

We also heard from Government officials such as California Secretary of Agriculture, Karen Ross, and industry thought leaders blazing trails in climate science, about how BECCS (BiCRS) is an essential tool in the toolbox for helping our Nation reach its Net Zero 2050 goal.

It was really humbling to see our North Fork Community Plant (NFCP) featured prominently on many presentations as proof and example of carbon removal (CDR) in California at the event since this month at Phoenix we kick off our efforts to have real impact with NFCP commissioning and set to sequester 4500 MTCO2e annually. This number might seem small in the grand scheme of the work we have in front of us as a Nation, but if Phoenix can execute on its ten year plan, our network of small and mighty community-scale plants are expected to sequester 47 Million MTCO2e. And this is just our CDR impact....

Equally important is the workhorse our plants are for the state of California's wildfire abatement programs and the support our plants can offer landfills for meeting requirements of SB 1383 - a measure that was passed in an effort to divert organics from our landfills to help further reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global climate change.

The LLNL event made us super optimistic that we have established ourselves in the climate action landscape. However, we will not lose sight of the work we are doing to deliver clean, renewable energy to Californians 24/7 which is why our CEO, Greg Stangl, never sleeps...as we post he is on an airplane to the 17th Annual International Biomass Conference & Expo in Virginia!

This design work provides important, first-stage engineering to support project decisions about establishment of a wood waste-to- #renewablenaturalgas (#RNG) plant built around EQTEC plc steam-oxygen #gasification technology and Wood Vesta methanation technology. This important progress follows completion of the first stage of pre-FEED work by EQTEC plc in December 2023 and prior completion of feasibility work with a range of partners. The Biogaz Gardanne project and its grant funding are driven by the #france national government via the Préfet de la Région #provencealpescotedazur on the site of a decommissioned, coal-fired power station in Meyreuil, #aixenprovence, #bouchesdurhône. EQTEC plc is pleased to share its progress with IDEX Groupe on the France Market Development Centre (MDC) near Villers-sous-Montrond, in the #Doubs province of France. EQTEC plc engineers in December 2023 finished the original scope of #frontendengineering design (FEED) and have since then collaborated with IDEX Groupe on additional value engineering for price optimisation of the project. This work will provide owner-operator IDEX Groupe with the technical information to take the project to its Final Investment Decision (FID) and the start of retrofit and construction. EQTEC plc is the core technology supplier for #FranceMDC and this is one of two projects it is pursuing with IDEX Groupe. #wastetovalue

EQTEC plc is pleased to have completed the first stage of basic engineering work in December 2023 for Simonpietri Enterprises LLC (SEL). We are well underway with the second half of the work and anticipate completing basic engineering later this month, under the Technical Services Agreement we signed in November 2023. Following that, we hope to move forward with SEL by providing further engineering services and equipment supply a plant that would convert 15,000 tonnes per year of wood #waste into #syngas, which in turn would generate up to 2MW of electrical power for an organic fertiliser production facility and demolition waste sorting and recycling operation
