Resolution 12 was dropped at the last AGM therefore I believe a further share issue is not possible without a shareholder vote for yes.
I believe at the time Matml74 was correct that the company had the right to a further issue, this was in addition to the raise (Sprinter), at the time we believed it was a defensive measure just in case it was needed, however that was in the previous financial year and doesn’t stand now.

Tommy Claim 1 from the newly filed Covid patent application:
Claims:
1. Interferon-beta (IFN-b) for use in preventing or reducing the severity of lower respiratory tract illness in a patient infected with a coronavirus or other potentially pandemic-causing virus capable of causing acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and/or improving one or more symptoms and/or outcome in a patient so infected, wherein the interferon-beta is administered by inhalation.
ATB
Tommy I believe this may cover it, from filed Covid patent application:
Thus, the present invention provides IFN-b for use in preventing or reducing the severity of lower respiratory tract illness in a patient infected with a coronavirus capable of causing acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), e.g. severe acute respiratory syndrome commensurate with categorisation as a SARS virus, and/or improving one or more symptoms and /or outcome in a patient so infected, wherein the IFN-b is administered by inhalation.

Whilst imo STRIVE will go ahead and strongly believe SNG001 will be enrolled for Covid, I’m keeping an open mind to other possibilities following RM’s ‘many arrows in the air’ AGM comment and their interest in multi-viral platform trials.
That’s a sensible exploratory move seeing their original granted patent is for ILI (influenza like illness).
Doc.Daneeka
When the NIHR announced the pulling of funding and reclaiming left over funds from Recovery they may have had this in mind. They stated that they wanted an equitable system for choosing candidates for influenza trials, that appears fair enough to me.
Perhaps SNG001 may well get a look in.

I’m not going to refute in anyway Wigster’s or Doc83 view of events, as their note taking in a difficult dynamic situation was commendable.
My version slightly (from memory) different (timing) but the aspect I was trying to get across was the ‘arrows or darts’ were not just being thrown/fired in wild abandonment.

Doc.Daneeka
From memory I think it came towards the end of the AGM when wrapping up. It was preceded by Simon Shaw stating that “things were really beginning to hot up in the U.S.”
Perhaps Wigster or Doc83 can also corroborate.
