RE: Just to put a balanced view on things...11 Feb 2020 17:36
Good post Hived.
Amongst all the negativity today and all the crows coming out saying I told you so, if you are following the story closely, then none of the update should have been a surprise.
£500k cash burn was estimated by moneygen on the other channel. It seemed like a fair estimate to me and has been proved correct.
They said in Dec update that revenues were 'insignificant', and so it comes to pass today that revenues are insignificant.
I get the frustration around JD ramping (and then him and Fran selling shares), and I definitely do think they need to be held accountable in terms of expenses, regardless of today's update or not.
If they are not flying cattle class and staying in a reasonable hotel whilst in Singapore, Vegas, China etc, then this is wrong and they should feel very guilty about doing that on shareholders money.
How do we do hold them accountable for this however? We don't even know if they are indeed taking the pish but by my reckoning, total salaries per month can be no more than £250k. So where is the other £250k going?
