Well, he navigated convid, respect for that, so lets see what the plan is.
Yes agreed simple. I have been banging that drum for a while. Is his ego too big to let him recognise his weaknesses and bring other employees in who are going to plug those weaknesses. It looks that way. There was talk of a CEO nearly 1 year ago and still we are no further. All talk.
No communication to shareholders on this London matter or the accounts (still). Terrible way to treat your backers.
If that ticket update was correct (KChartstours on twitter), why would you cancel a gig when you've already sold 25k tickets out of 34k. Unless the 25k+ tickets now not available included a load of giveaways, like Madrid. Doesn't smell right to me. They sold less % for Madrid.
And he needs to think of something. The company stayed alive during covid but he has alot of peoples money tied up who are waiting to see what the next move is.
I have said for awhile that BL if not profitable this year should be sold, or partly sold.
StART needs to back up its valuation in the accounts. The deal had EBIT targets to meet as part of the deal, for 22 and this year.
Guzzler I've just checked back and you asked me 'So you are not going to answer who told you that Lee money was secured?' And I replied 'You know the answer. What is me telling you that going to change anything. What are you ultimately trying to get at'.
I can promise you that DC didn't tell me that. I heard it from another shareholder. But yes he still told another shareholder and it wasn't the case. Just like he said London line up was the best he'd ever seen, when none of it was confirmed. He also said he was going to appoint a CEO last year. He also said in the last webinar that the company was going to look very different in October, well that one might come true at the rate of the last 2 months.
But yes you warned me and it is looking like if I'd listened then I could have saved myself some money. But as I say, you were in big with MOS at the time it seemed, which being honest, did affect my judgement of your judgement, as that company was a more obvious stinking pile. To me anyway. My entry was also around 5p initially, so it was a recovery bet that has backfired.
Anyway, enough of he said she said, it is what it is. I'm sure most of us wish we'd never invested on AIM, where everything isn't always what it seems with companies.
Stuie or whatever your name is - I didn't form any group, I joined it but I wasn't part of forming it. And they didn't communicate the JL 'lie' to me directly. Stop your lying and coming across as a pathetic loser, rubbing it in when people have potentially lost alot of money. What is wrong with you. My last reply to you, not lowering myself to your level. You've lost alot of money on AIM yourself, so stop coming across as the all knowing master of nothing.
Keep collecting your karma by rubbing it in.
But how could anyone take advice of somebody who had lost on every other stock they'd invested in?
Coming here to rub things in. How low can you go
The London line up was the best he'd ever seen. Obviously now we see it was a line up that hadn't yet been confirmed. Shame he failed to tell us that part.
I don't see how the kpop division recovers from this. Fans surely won't want to risk booking flights and hotels now. This is the 3rd out of 5 KPOP shows that have been cancelled. Can LVCG even run the financial risk running a show again, knowing the reputation is rock bottom?
Can anything be recovered from the remaining divisions?
Are the accounts going to back up the StART valuation?
Are the accounts ever going to come out of suspension?
How much has this London debacle cost us?
And to think he was telling people to buy before the suspension. Talking about shareholders getting money back. A quite unbelievable statement, looking at events that have transpired since, much of which he'd have known about (London not being in the bag, accounts going to take much longer than 1 month).
He being DC
I'm not sure he guaranteed, but agree the delay is a big concern now, as you naturally start to think there are issues now holding them up.
He was telling people to buy before the suspension. I hope that statement ages better than it is looking at this minute.
No comment whatsoever on the delayed accounts really is p1ss poor.
So the discount is for anyone and everyone? Yes agree this doesn’t seem a good move. Cheapens tickets already brought and alienates the important customers who brought in the first place.
I’ll say it again, badly needs experience in the sector to join the team. Own goal after own goal
The 30% discount is only for fans affected by Frankfurt changes? Seems a win win gesture to me.
Are these KPOP loons aware it is only those affected that get the discount?
Hopefully the accounts can give some detail on StART financials and confirmation of whether the EBIT target was met for 2022. They need these details outlined clearly, to help put the valuation of the acquisition to bed.
There is always the possibility things go permanently south but, given they survived convid, I see that as a small possibility. The risk to me is that they continue to not execute on these festivals and we continue to go sideways at these levels, with everybody underwater and pished off.
And on the bully boy stuff, I think everybody is big enough and ugly enough to stick up for themselves. An echo chamber benefits no-one and I don't think this forum is one.
Its his over-reaching that gets him these deals. That's what you were betting on when you brought shares in his company.
'The FLEX thing is only good news for us, for example, if it makes money - so far we have no outcomes that back that up.'
We have Frankfurt and Madrid which were both profitable. Clearly a 2nd day was a mistake for Frankfurt, and given it was their first show, it demonstrated the potential. Madrid we don't know the numbers yet but we do know it was profitable.
Would you agree Bennster that all of the negativity is already priced in? Or you think we're overvalued?
Agreed. And a massive positive that the tickets are on sale well in advance and line ups will be visible months before. If we get the same for Madrid and London next year then this company might start to realise some of its potential.
A clear statement costs nothing though and can only be a positive. Same with the accounts being delayed (again). A little bit of communication goes a long way for sentiment.
This is great news but they need to make a statement to the fans, explaining what has changed and to distance themselves from the Frankfurt debacle earlier in the year. All the fans just think it is a rebadge and blaming KPOP Lux for Frankfurt. Use your brains and limit the damage ffs.
Can we also have some communication as to when the accounts are going to be submitted aswell LVCG ffs? Very disrespectful to shareholders to just sail past deadlines, without any explanation. Keep kicking that sentiment why don't you.
Good to see the bands promoting. More of this please!
It is his fault, because he hasn’t plugged his weaknesses. Outstanding deal maker but can’t seem to recognise what pieces of the jigsaw are missing, ie what his own biggest weaknesses are.
reading the comments ****ging them off, kpop lux getting all the abuse and fans know it is kpop flex rebadged, all while the german promoter and sbs never get a mention.
it badly needs some new blood this company, in the organisational / operational department. get somebody who is experienced in the sector. give them options to incentivise. how many more failures can the current setup oversee?
