Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
My point being guzzlers post inferred this was a new development.... that DC was going to mention to Euston in a recent conversation that his 'master builder' had left, which happened at the very least in Jan 2022.
PrivateRyan - what are you thinking? I hope not that he is going to buy this company aswell. He needs to sell, not buy. Can't run a bath
That company was incorporated nearly 2 years ago. I don’t think we need negative ‘old news’, think there is enough recent negative news to be tiding us over.
I sound like a broken record but the StART transaction needs to be looked at. There needs to be an answer to the question, 'what % of total revenue for StART was the Jason Lee $500k recurring revenue + other payments from Jason Lee. And has that revenue materalised?'
If it hasn't, we shareholders will have purchased a tiny art business for £4m.
And yes, I would be happy to get 2p as it stands now. But things (and expectations) can change very quickly on the AIM circus. It's the hope that kills you eh
Tintin as far as I can see, you are wanting to hit the nuke button. I just don't think we are there yet, lets see what they come out with. This isn't unsalvageable yet imo. And we've waited this long, can't see it being too long to wait now.
And depending on what DC's plan is, I'll possibly be following simples advice, as I am not going to just sit back and let somebody take my money, if that is what transpires in the coming months.
Why don't we see if we can't get an ROI on our investments first, before we throw the petrol bomb at it? Just lets see what they have planned before making any moves imo.
I also am hoping that he is selling up, and agree, BrickLive looks to be the only division of any value. It would be interesting to see what interest StART would attract, if put on the market. Maybe that accountancy firm might be interested, at a cut price £3m...
For context on the below, Jason Lee's investment never went through. Now, to see at the £500k per annum license fee with StART...
StART valuation from the top 4 accountancy firm was based on, what % of the total revenue and profit was the £500k recurring license fee from Jason Lee? And have those £500k recurring license fee revenues hit landed?
Lets hope the £500k license fee revenues have landed with no issues at all and are landing on a recurring basis. BUT...if these revenues haven't landed or aren't going to (like Jason Lee's additional investment), then we left with an art business that looks like it was a hobby but with minimal revenues, that has been sold to the group for £4m or whatever the amount was?
Simple, glad to hear. Let’s see what the next few days bring. Either way something has to come to a head, with the radio silence for how many months now…
Simple I trust your actions are with the only view being monetary and not any point scoring or dropping the company in the proverbial that then subsequently drops SHs further into the proverbial and further away from any chance of a ROI (if that’s possible from this lowly position).
Hughes - fair enough. We all want the same thing here. DC needs to be kept onside though, that much is obvious to me.
Knigel nice idea but Sarah's replies haven't got a great track record have they, i.e. nothing has followed after them.
We need an RNS from the company - publication of accounts, confirmation the business was profitable last year (hopefully) and a full explanation on direction of travel, along with a clear statement on the current cash position. The can kicking down the road time and replies from Sarah are over now. Time for the company to show its hand.
You are saying the company will be delisted Hughes = fear mongering.
I've said what I would do. I don't know DC but judging his character from an outsider looking in, starting a war (which is how he'd probably view it) with the one person who can turn this around, doesn't seem a clever move for any of our investments. We all need to be on the same side. I see your angle but given the personalities involved, I think it would have the opposite affect to what you're hoping. Things aren't black and white.
If we are a month down the line and still in the same boat, then yes I would be concerned enough to start to think about the options being mentioned.
Simple agree with what you're saying, I just don't think these nuclear buttons need to be pushed....yet. If we are end of next month and still in the same boat then yes collective action should be discussed.
Hughes fear mongering again, seemingly willing his £8k down the drain.
Simple - blaming posters for the company mess seems akin to claiming somebody has made a mess of a house that is on fire and burning down, because they didn't wipe their feet when they entered.
It is the companies inability to execute on the opportunities that were in front of them. The end.
The brokers note was saying what MB was saying, which was the bull case. Even the bears weren't factoring in the festivals not happening. The bear argument was will there be any profits left once DC has had his feed.
People can blame posters here but it is obvious that the problem has been DC and team's inability to bring these festivals together (with the help of SBS drip feeding the acts). He didn't plug his weaknesses operationally by bringing experience in, to execute these events. None of us saw coming these cancellations and then the cherry on the cake, months on end suspension (after the f controller was telling us to buy).
Deleting posts on here will just encourage shareholders to group together elsewhere. Discussions won't stop. Which btw everyone, there is a telegram group. Chat is not very active, especially of late, but I'd encourage ALL active posters here to join. Group is called 'LVCG Discussion and Research'
Until I see numbers and PROFIT to suggest otherwise, StART looks to me like it is entertainment and a hobby for DC and family. The valuation that the top 4 accountancy firm gave to StART, was this based on the £500k recurring annual revenue from Jason Lee? Is that agreement still in place? Or, like his investment, has it not actually transpired? What revenue has StART actually generated? Who knows? If StART valuation was based on that £500k license fee, and that agreement hasn't actually borne any revenue for StART, DC will have sold StART to the group for a price tag...well I won't continue and will let your imaginations go further with that line...
Also to say, what DC said is going well and what that means in reality are likely two different things. Sorry to be cynical tintin but this guy has treated shareholders absolutely terribly, so forgive me if I need to see action and proof before anything else. Talk is cheap as we have found out
The KPOP division, over its 2 years, will have been loss making. It is high risk, high reward, and they haven't been able to pull it off.
I'm probably not alone in this, but I wouldn't have expected the execution side of these festivals to be such a challenge. Is that down to the LVCG team involved, or the partners, or is it quite common for these festivals to end up in abit of a mess, like many of the dates have turned out to be? Maybe a combination of the 3.
One thing to say is the market never priced in any execution of these events. Is it fair to assume BrickLive is worth the market cap of £5m, based on the £350k sale of the under performing bricks? SP would tank if unsuspended tomorrow, but that would be knee jerk selling at any price behaviour imo.
Track record tintin is they can’t execute these festivals, even with SBS on board. They need to give it up and not create more debt.
And we've now got 5 or 10 year rights to hold a Formula E race in a location that doesn't sound financially do-able. So what does that mean for the LCSE division? If it is breaking even every year, then what use is it to the group? Sell it off
Agree as long as it makes money then who cares. Given the lack of execution in recent years however, is it not time to find a buyer for these deals and bricks, then retire (semi) gracefully? If SBS aren't involved then the line up will be rubbish and the tickets won't sell.
