At last this seems to have broken out - increasing all time highs for much of the last week

Excellent half year results - truly outstanding. increased sales, profits , loads of cash for buybacks and tripling of dividend.

Interesting item on this morning’s Today Programme, BBC R4, with MM and Bjorn Ulvaeus (who was predictably adamant that ABBA’s back catalogue is not for sale!) concerning the market for songs. This acting as a taster for a dedicated programme later this morning on Radio 4 at 11.30 am - “The Price of Song”. Hopefully worth a listen.

Noeyedeers - I agree with other responses to your message. Never apologise for asking reasonable and intelligent questions. Unfortunately we live in an age when many people, from politicians and sensationalist tabloids to social media, don’t like clarity or even truth as that does not serve their own agendas, and they evade difficult questions, and resort to lies and obfuscation. Ignore all that rubbish, and learn to be confident in your questioning. I wish you every success in your investing.

Not bad given covid, the weather and Brexit! Ian King on Sky News has even given Wynnstay a mention this morning, suggesting the trade deal with the E U will at least provide more certainty for the sector.

Orangutan - your wife is to be admired for her wise counsel not to put ALL your eggs in one basket. Another key investing rule to adhere to is not to invest what you can’t afford to lose. Those willing to bet the (not always metaphorical) house or farm on a sure fire winner need to be very very careful. Can they sleep at night?

Seems pretty solid. Nice steady upward trend and probably benefitting from Brexit and covid woes. Excellent news
