Hedge funds will pay a very low rate of interest, they can easily afford, hence they are not giving up. And of course where MTRO is concerned they borrowed when the share was much higher than now so absolutely no pressure for them to reduce their holdings. They don't even have to factor in a dividend where MTRO is involved. MTRO probably has to rise by 50/75p before they need to 'think' about reducing IMHO.

The tie up with Ocado will allow MKS to sell a lot more than Waitrose have been doing. Currently MKS ready meals are far superior to the Waitrose offers. If MKS raise their game you will be ordering a pair of jeans with your groceries. the Ocado development is the best thing MKS have done for 20/30 years.

Sandhopper, agree; some seem to think taking the shares in circulation from 1bn to 7bn will have no impact, they must be seeing flying pigs.

Richard, thank you for your concern about village shops. Our one shop has gained business as people don't want to go into town, the quality of products is the best its ever been. Lovely atmosphere inside, and outside the queue allow everyone to chat safely. Some enjoy the chat so much they give up their place in the queue to continue their natter. JJ

Ohmni following upon your post I took another look at the relevant RNS, surely when those shares come into play the sp must drop much nearer to 25p, but what do I know?!
