Many of the staff will grab at a package with a tax free lump sum and take an early retirement; others might want to start up a business where the tax free cash reduces the 'risk'. They will get rid of staff, but not overnight and will want volunteers to avoid the risk that you are seeing. Its a bit of a game, the shedding of staff as many will be switched to online positions where new jobs are created. Yes there may be a little bit of negative publicity but it will be short lived, and the bod can take steps to ensure its not impactful to the image. JJ

Chilting "immoral" you can argue that stock markets are. There are plenty of examples of public companies shedding staff and continuing to pay dividends; provided MKS takes action in a sensitive manner the dividend should be paid IMHO. JJ

Chelwood, allow it to wash over you. IMO this is going to be above 250p later in '21. And take comfort in the fact that Waitrose are losing their sense of direction, the fresh produce leaves a lot to be desired here in the Thames Valley. JJ

By May the bod should have seen enough to show that the economy is growing so my expectation is a dividend will be paid. Its another reason to believe that the share will be around 170p come May. Anyone see it this way??? JJ

If JP own 7% of the company what information is available to them? Do they have access to more detail? Have our bod 'encouraged them to invest'? As a somewhat innocent investor in terms of AMGO could JP buys us out on the cheap e.g. say 20/30p? JJ

the div. is the icing on the cake for me. I bought at 235p, and want to see the share back at that level. The results suggest that the share should move above 240p this year. Enjoy. JJ

uncertainty and the share falls. All it would take is some production figs. and income generated. Said it before exercise patience and see what 2021 brings. If you have over invested in the light of known risks that is your mistake, and nothing to do with this particular stock. Always weigh up risk and reward. Jamtart, I think we have the answer i.e. there is no reason for the drop and therefore it is to be expected that it will start climbing back above 250p in the course of the next few months as we come out of lockdown and the economy bounces. TSCO could turn out to be a star performer in '21. JJ

Looking at the others in this sector they have been dropping just when my expectation would be for a lift in their share price. We are coming out of lockdown at a moment when the weather is improving allowing for a measure of 'partying' out of doors. The markets are supposed to predict when profits are going to increase/decrease - a falling share price suggests falling profits. Is that the right conclusion??? JJ

I started using Ocado about 18 months ago, the experience was very good indeed. When the first lockdown came I couldn't get a delivery slot and had to resort to Waitrose, and Tesco; the latter were good. After a couple of months I was able to get a slot with Ocado but the delivery charge had been increased whereas previously it was often free. Now I don't have any problem getting a slot but it can cost £5/6 a time. I now choose their delivery at 22.30-23.30 which is free, and they are always early e.g. often around 21.30 which suits me. They must have increased their profit margin with a delivery charge of £5/6 to many, and minimum order of £75(or pay a further £1). The quality/freshness far surpasses that of the competition. Its been mentioned that say Morrisons may buy the other 50%, whereas I would like to see MKS with exclusivity in the UK. JJ
