I started using Ocado about 18 months ago, the experience was very good indeed. When the first lockdown came I couldn't get a delivery slot and had to resort to Waitrose, and Tesco; the latter were good. After a couple of months I was able to get a slot with Ocado but the delivery charge had been increased whereas previously it was often free. Now I don't have any problem getting a slot but it can cost £5/6 a time. I now choose their delivery at 22.30-23.30 which is free, and they are always early e.g. often around 21.30 which suits me. They must have increased their profit margin with a delivery charge of £5/6 to many, and minimum order of £75(or pay a further £1). The quality/freshness far surpasses that of the competition. Its been mentioned that say Morrisons may buy the other 50%, whereas I would like to see MKS with exclusivity in the UK. JJ
