I seriously believe there will be no where near the $200m sale being bandied around for the assets. Refinery needs 30k barrels a day that's a hell of a lot of wells to drill, and then fork out 4m to get one to production in just over a year and half's time when the refinery is supposed to go on line. And yet again the lack of coms is now a little more concerning.

How can you say Matad are making a profit when the capex of $200 millions has been spend and only producing 350 bopd . It cost roughly 4m to bring a well to production. At this rate it'll take 30 plus years to break even. Going to need a lot more wells drilled.

What will be the state of the SP be if there's no farm out that materialises just like the last ten years? Is it more carrot dangling and shouldn't there be an AGM announcement soon and a more comprehensive update on this year's works programme. If there's no farm out then they'll need to have all resolutions passed for the next raise. There's only 3 more weeks to the start of this year's drilling season???

You do realise that while you are praising the cost of a barrel of oil rising rapidly as it is the cost of living is also rising, no one mentions that. Petrol and diesel already has at the pumps which also has a knock on effect to the food we eat, on the grand scheme of things 300 barrels a day isn't going to make a blind bit of difference to o change that.
