1st post on this BB. Bought my first tranche in Sept 2013 and topped up a few times along the way. My question, is it possible to buy share's in start ups in Canada through my Sipp and Isa. I've only ever bought UK stock so any info would be most appreciated. Took a ride out with a few friends to Whitby today and rode past Woodsmith and got a glimpse of my investment, think I will go back for a proper look soon. Thanks in anticipation of reply.

I also would appreciate info not for the IPO but been looking at start ups in Canada. Seems with a certain legalization of a certain commodity could be mega. Thanks in advance.

Morning all, I'm hoping results drop Monday morning it been the last trading day of the month, but as TBTT said there could be another couple of days to wait which will just add to the anticipation. I've got my alerts set up for the most significant RNS I've been waiting for which has felt like an eternity. I mentioned in my last post would there be a suspension, doing a bit of research I have since learned I meant a re_rate which Tiger mentioned not long after I posted so I would like to say thank you for all your well informed comments and post's and very good luck to all holders new and old. Hi all, while I wait in anticipation for results, my question, would there by any be a suspension of trading shares for a time while the market works out the value of Rainbows results? I do remember watching a company a few month ago and noticed that the shares went up by I'm sure was 9000% the morning after they announced some results. Very different commodity to ours but would the principal be the same. Any thoughts appreciated.

Slight overreaction on my part,i was just thinking had there been another glitch with lse Sorry it sounded cryptic, What I meant by I had seen before, I was referring to no trades in the day, I think was a couple of month ago now. Looks like these shares are in some very sticky fingers. Almost made a purchase yesterday just to see if there were any glitches on lse site then had to stop myself after checking on ADVFN. Not to worried, seen this b4.
