Just been through the 10 for 1 consolidation with RLD the other week. So far no good but perhaps I'm being impatient.

MTL have only just been released from suspension (like RLD). For both of them, they have had an interesting history. In MTL's case we came so very close to overcoming that history save for (i would say disingenuous actions) some share holders who wanted to play chess earlier this year.

So Perhaps we need to hear some more trading results and more settled corporate actions before the market feels confident to buy back in to this amazing company

Hopefully we will see that in early 2021
with AAZ I thought it went from 4p to well over one pound on results (perhaps I'm being naive) , so perhaps we should wait

So I had 773348 shares in RLD and now I have 77334 I appreciate the practicalities of the consolidation and the need thod rounding down (but never up)

So what happened to the value of my .8 It may in my case be miniscule but over many customers this has a disticnt value I would have thought.

do they just run off with the money and have a laugh at the group of investors expense???

Halifax (my broker) say its down to RLD not them (so please go away)

I bought my extra shares last Friday btw and happy now to wait. want to be careful not to put all my eggs in one basket, but it is tempting with MTL.

The filter I assume is working well as I have not heard anymore depressing and effectively de-ramping nonsense from the "ring 'o' pasta troll" ........its been lovely :-)

He reminds me of the pigeon and the box experiment, dancing round in endless circles pecking in code at the wrong box in the hope a peanut will drop out, constantly asking the wrong questions in the wrong place and ignoring the "correct" answers because it happens to not be the answer "he" thinks he wants

Three:- Sorry to be negative but...... for once I'm hoping the share price stays where it is for a few days as I banged out of Kefi gold on monday (a nice 21% profit fab number three ) due to the troubles with the rebels and when its clear will put that £7k into MTL

I doubt that it will unless the company suddenly has a massive boost in it captital value

But dont forget even if it did it on the 25th, it will be divided by 10

that can't be right my share price is now valued at 30p and I still have the same number of shares and now showing an 11 thousand plus increase from 2k to 250k

I was expecting my 777,000 shares to be reduced to 10,000 shares @2.75 whats happening is this a computer glitch?

Stick with it Roy, we all want to see you hit that 7p milestones and become the first of us to reach Delboy and Rodneys dream..............................not this time next year but "this year!!!!!!"

Hopefully all this radio noise will end soon and we can get back to being one of the best and most informative boards on this site

Yes this is why I'm a little fixated on AAZ.

Its the nearest comparison to us (even tho we have the debt) and therefore I'm wondering if its a good measure and whether other more informed people here have an opinion on it compared to MTL's future potential

Nothing else to think about on a Monday morning so here is the thought/fantasy:..........

I did quite well out of AAZ but not as well as those that got in on 4p (ish) 4 years ago

However I did note (its seems a long time ago now) that this share has been compared to AAZ who at one point increased by 43 times on that 4p(ish) to about 175 (is that right?).

Sure I understand everything has potential (and after all AIM is the wild west) to either win or fail

But what is MTL's potential on the event and date of first divi? does it still have a realistic chance of multiplying on the "current mine similar" to AAZ ( dont wish to speculate on the further potential finds) and if so, what is that as a realistic multiple.

I'm very happy to stick around with MTL tbh as I'm about to be completely debt free(elsewhere) and as I have said before its been a fab adventure and I don't really want it to end.

I'm with the Halifax with an ISA and there was nothing in the corporate actions box

The problem is I live on a boat on the GU so I never have a proper permanent address so I have one I sort of nominate and my current postal address is at a storage facility currently 35 miles away.

So popped by there today and picked up an armful of bills etc; the letter was waiting for me and I have ticked all 4 boxes as yes and sent off in this evenings post

I'm a lucky chappie really, as I sold out enough shares to cover the profit when the optimism was high in early Jan and then bought back in for very little when the D4E hit hard so have ended up with my 1.8m MTL shares at relatively very little cost. Luck not judgement has put me in that position

Come the moment I could bang out at a low price for a good profit, but I want to hang on for a true value and as a semi experienced trader I have to admit I have no idea how much that will be.

Its been fabulous tho, being in this little group with so much sage advice from the more experienced investors(I'm honestly grateful for your words and actions) and I hope that we can all benefit from more sage advice as the time near.

Honestly this share investment for me has been such a buzz and I've enjoyed the journey immensly, much better than watching Emmerdale farm any day, despite the lack of Totty! but I'm not county my chickens just yet as just like Emmerdale, the story line and characters can change at any minute imho.

So roll on October and lets see what happens

Fwiw on the mining side I'm also invested in Kefi, Kat, RLD and Sres, was in AAZ and more than doubled my money; that was fab (even tho I didn't know what I was doing)!

You have truly outdone Marvin the robot in HHGTG in your positivity there Hoops.

As private investors we actually have a good hand and are in good hands with Les and Co. The other investors know all about us and have clearly taken us into account when gathering information on who is who

All we can do at this moment is wait for "an" outcome in the next few days.

I fully appreciate you frustration about it but constantly mithering about various aspect of it on a public forum won't actually change a thing at this time.
the hard fact remains that:-
If you can do something about it then do it.
If you cant do something about it then don't

Crofty, you need to make sure whomever you shares are held with know that you wish to have voting rights passed to you. as you must have control to be effective.

Most everyone has done this so far

a simple phone call or e-mail is enough.

In my case my shares are held in a Halifax share save isa and it was a simple as contacting them via the online help desk. A couple of messages and it was done.
