RE: Nothing confusing with this RNS28 Apr 2022 11:13
Annoying that the price is down again but on the other side, having had to sell some profits the other month every time the DWP make their monthly payment to me I invest back into MTL at a cheaper rate. What's not to like, (apart from I would like to see 10p too).
Still have confidence in Darren and his team to keep plugging solidly at their asset and pleased that they keep doing so.
However, I seem to remember somewhere that we are due to come to the end of a tax holiday soon and if I am correct about that, I wonder if anyone could share some light on how that affects the figures that are being projected by Lee ad others of when we will be actually debt free.
For my part I am very likely to get a tax free ill health bonus soon as I have been off work for 6 months (current sick note runs out in July)
I'm not actually sick, sick but suffering from a few broken bones as my motorcycle racing exploits went a bit tits up last October.
Lets put it this way:- The mild vindaloo induced gastro-enteritis i was experiencing that morning suddenly got a lot worse as I departed company with my bike and took up a new temporary hobby of flying!!
5 broken bones later and I'm still recovering. Plus as a result I now need a new knee. (relevance????) If that bonus comes thru then a significant portion will be invested in MTL; that's for sure.
I finished 4th in the EMRA championships and 7th in the British motorcycle racing club champs on the 400cc bike but won the 50cc classic British champs (that's a 106mph teeny bike). Next year I want to be a Gold investing Champion, with every one else here
Have fun everyone
Jim
