Final purchase today takes me to just over my target for the number of shares I wanted to own for no other reason than I liked the number and wanted to purchase at an average of <1p

So I now have 3004274 shares at an ave of .9240 per share.

Happy with that and fwiw I read that last RNS positively(sure we'd all like more) the company is on an almost non stoppable path to its planned destiny and I can'rt wait for the 1st divi to have an effect of the share price

Not that stable a price today Roy.

A sudden urge of the greedy eyed monster saw me purchase a further 101k plus @1.96 and a bit with 4 minutes to go.

Very happy to say that gives me now 2,792724 @ .8586 of a pence average. Now awaiting next quarterly update.

Hopefully now the DWP are paying me my pension, I shall get to the magic fiqure of 3 million shares, sooner than I thought.

PS having a bad week so far. Awful winds and rain and the Motorcycle wouldn't start and then kept dying at The race meeting at Mallory Park yesterday
Then I fell off because I pushed it too hard in the acrosious wet and the winds
Then roof of motorhome sprang a leak over the wardrobe in the awful rain at the same event
On the way back home the trailer burst a tyre and we had to pull over as nobody had a replacement until this morning
Then when I got home midday today, the canopy on our little patio (which had been left open by me despite hearing about the winds) had been destroyed by the gales we had last night

and now I finally catch up with Basel 3

what next??????

Its something that definitely paid off for us when our future was under threat and its something that keeps this (I would say) unique board interesting for all that participate.

Have been topping up this past 7 days, not a lot but still adding and now that Ive got a big bill out of the way today, I just topped up again today.

So now sitting at 2681325 shares at an average of 0.81p

Well it is!

When I see day after day the value of this stock slowly degrading I have to keep asking myself the key question:- Are you happy here? because if the answer is no then of course I'm oot! (as Ducan Banatyne might say).

So to answer the question I repeat the mantra :- "We can't default on loans, plenty of gold in then tar hills, q2 coming up, debts being repaid, Bowden has all interests at heart and is honest" against the puzzle that we are seriously undervalued.

So its really helpful that Lee, Shinfalls, Accipiter etc, keep posting about where they think it might go and backing it up with facts (for without them then it wpould all be just pasta hoops in tomato sauce to me :-) .

Btw the anwer:- Its always been a "Yes"

Trouble is there are soooo many well priced 1960's to 1990's motorcycles on the market at the moment and its driving me mad!!!. I could spend some serious money going back on a second youth adventure. I mean you'd think already having 11 motorcycles is enough but somebody has to have them to love, polish, ride in sickness and health until death do we part!!

So you see its difficult

Shinfalls, I think your point number 3 is the main thing holding us back on SP imho.

After such a rocky ride in 2020 where if it weren't for Les and the action group I'm sure we would disappeared into the hand of two very greedy people . We are a good band of stock holders with the exception of the............ :-) "illiterately" :-) (is that a word?) .

I'm certain as we progress and with current political and bureaucratic pressures, that the price of gold will consolidate its current position and likely start to increase; our SP will follow suite.

Look what happened to AAZ the other year!

in the meantime I am still buying little and often and now currently hold 2,505.665 with an average that has risen to .76p. So still delightfully happy.

Love Lee's housing analogy . Spot on and I shall be sticking around till just before I think the tenants need a new boiler or something :-))

Q2 result will impact the price of the asset, can't wait until we receive some rental income or some other step change

I hope nobody minds me asking a question that is not specifically about MTL, though it is in a way.

What guides/information sources do you find worthwhile for market information

I keep getting Tom Winnifrith appearing in my feed plus shareprofits , trade 2 win a couple of others. all asking for subscriptions and giving only headline news. So I am unable to really evaluate how genuine or practical they really are or if they are no better than others.

I don't mind paying a small fee for practical advice and information as long as its genuine and not just people creating content for the sake of content

So I was wondering (without any kind of prejudice) what views you guys had on pay for info services or magazines or what you actually use and find helpful as I'm still short of experience in general stock market terms and the brilliant knowledge displayed by some on this board.

If my question is out of order on this BB then please ignore. but I would genuinely be interested in reading your opinions

I'm well pleased with the average

The average is mainly because I sold last feburary (thought it was jan but I just looked) 20th in fact in order to recover the whole of my stake back leaving me with a very nice holding at that date of over 904k shares for almost no cost.

Ever since, I have been buying in small tranches whenever the opportunity (price and cash) has arrived

I keep a detailed spreadsheet on my holdings too. Bored this morning, I went back thru my buys and sell to verify so I'm certain of the ave price (in fact I had to raise the ave slightly)

Its a cracking average tho, I'm very lucky

I agree with the previous poster you have called it all the way thru, esp with the recent troll :-)

Onwards and upwards, its the only way we will go

Topped up again this morning it being payday and also using my new DWP combined with bonus part of not having to pay NI anymore(I'm still working) gives me a nice monthly figure. So will keep doing it every month from now on whilst we are being overlooked

Currently now holding 2.43million at an average of .071p

happy chappy and with my main Sipp invested in various sensible boring "stuff", I'm still very confident I will get a good return on this "speculation" which is what the contents of my ISA is all about to me.

Slowly but surely will keep building it up

quite agree Lee, have been saving up along the way and also sold out my very small holding of ANIC last week (artificial meat investor) sitting with £4k plus in my pocket and ready to buy more MTL on my next payday. apart from that I drip feed every month into MTL since we got our "stuff" together last October

I have time to wait and fortunately any future uk unemployment issues won't affect me income wise as I have worked for the Royal Mail (yes I am a holder) the last three years

So I (we)have decided to wait for the 1st divi as It I suspect will be sooner than we expect, perhaps I will have surpassed the 3m mark by then and it will be a fabulous end to what has been a really exciting journey

Rahee, I haven't got huge pockets but I currently hold 2.2m @ 0.52p here. Thanks mainly to buying back when the CFO and CEO changes took place and then selling half 50% of my shares leaving myself with a holding at nil cost (a no risk bet) back when we were at a high last January a week or so before suspension (jammy). Hence the tiny average; I got lucky!

For me, the key thing is having Mr Bowden at the helm, a very experienced man with no need to compromise his integrity to keep impatient people sweet for the sake of his career.

Have been reinvesting most of that in drips (even just now £645 at 1.68p). not sure I'll be brave (or even lucky like last time) to sell and re-invest as this rises and dips on its inevitable ascent as time goes on.
I'm lucky as my spreadsheet line for MTL is coloured green, but I ain't going nowhere, not for a long time yet

There has been some great advice on here, a good combination of common sense, helpful assistance and sound logic with (of course) the odd fairy flounce. It all serves to keep me (a relative novice) staying in this stock,

I don't regard this a some fantasy get rich quick stock. however, its definitely every bit of a bargain that LTH's say it is at this price. So its feast of the seven fishes not tinned spaghetti hoops for me next christmas

Had a little top up my self today as the Royal Mail announced we were getting a 2.7% pay rise back dated to April. I thought I'd jump the gun before payday and invest the back pay in MTL before the wife finds out!! :-)
