An interesting video, I’m confident for a good week ahead, hopefully capped off with positive ST2 news!
Is this always the closing SP?
just had a look at ADVFN, jeez that's a toxic place
BradSmith hahaha!
These are the type of regular, bizarre thoughts that go through my head when having a pint!
Thanks Phil, Exactly what I needed! (runs away to make absolutely no use of it ever again whatsoever)
*ran away with themselves
Apologies guys, my aim wasn't to cause conflict. Correct, not an APR but a continued 2.04% rise on a daily basis accounting for 260days- 8 BH's in a year.
I know the rough estimate in my head took it to around 160k, but wasn't sure on a formula to use to change variables and change the situation. If you have one, that would be appreciated.
As mentioned it was all hypothetical, I was sat having a quick pint in my local, musing and my thoughts ran away with myself.
ATB
I should add it was pure curiosity and nothing else!
Thanks guys, the rough estimation in my head was around the same as Andrews (2% per day = roughly 10% a week, = double SP every 7 weeks)
Can anyone give me a formula that can be used to give a percentage increase occurring repeatedly over a period of time.
I.e 1000 growing by 2.04% 252 times cumulatively?
Normally I’d just do it in excel and drag down, but don’t have my comp in front of me.
Just a bit of fun to see what would happen if I had £1k and it grew by 2.04% everyday for a year
I saw that the other day, definite click bait!
ffc, as far as I'm aware there are only certain windows when directors can buy shares and this has to be party to them not having any insider information. Given all that we have going on, it probably isn't possible for them to purchase shares at the moment.
- I'm pretty sure there's also been plenty of times where an SP has dipped when a director bought shares, due to the fact it likely means there's nothing too big in the pipeline in the near future.
Absolutely rubbish RuSirius. The reason is that SIPP has contributed absolutely nothing of any value to this board in the previous 6 month (cba going back further), yet came on here to say how great his sale was albeit in a backhanded complement kind of way and now we can’t get rid of him.
He likes to think of himself as smart/strategic thinker. Well first impressions matter and his is one of an arrogant individual who might have an agenda. If he’d put as much time into contributing things of value rather than reiterating he has his “worries” and mentioning he’s been a LTH, he might be slightly better received?
Hahah Andy, that was definitely sarcasm, but certainly isn’t far off the things some come out with on here!
On the plus side I have 8 rhubarb plants wildly sprouting In the allotment, I’ve got some for rhubarb gin, and will probably stew some for crumble in the winter and with Duck! Any other uses?
I’m close to breakdown tbh, please come back, we didn’t mean it.
Thanks Fred, much appreciated! Luckily there is a good core base of LTH posters on here and hopefully we can all celebrate at the £1 party together!
There’s been an influx of new posters today who’ve been remarkably quiet the rest of the week!
Why thank you Desmon for gracing us with your presence and providing that pearl of wisdom as your first post!
haha that made chuckle! I have no doubt, I have a rather intelligent colleague who's a new dad and a direct quote from him was "I have this brain and now it feels like it doesn't work anymore" fun times ahead
Thanks guys, definitely wasn't planned and a little shaky at work today, but generally in a good position, so hopefully should be a positive. I'm almost mid 30's and still feel 18 myself.
