Banterboy, why are you here? You literally created an account to inform us of your wisdom that our share is a “dog” so come on mr intelligent tell us why and I mean really get into those nooks and crannies of the fundamentals of it.
Also can you let me know how a certain norwegian sovereign wealth fund plays into it?
Fred, people comparing it to Debenhams are either trolling, in the hope of /spooking new investors or are clueless themselves.
Debenhams is where it is because it has a poor business mode and failed to adapt to what it’s compet are doing, I also recall being late to Ecommerce (if they even are), coupled with a declining high street retail sector= a perfect storm (I believe they’d struggle moving forward even without the troubles on the high street)
SXX is a startup which has strong potential fundamentals, which is suffering the short term pain of dilution, coupled with a couple of risk factors still outstanding, and the city riding the hell out of it to their advantage!
Honest question what’s the reason for your tirade? Like really why? It’s about half a dozen messages long, with no one answering you? Do you need to talk?
We all know the state of the SP at present and I think most of accept it for what it is. You seem to have missed out most of the fundamentals that are still in place and just gone on a constant rant.
As the diector of a small business consultancy, I understand stress,m. I had my first professional massage last week, it was brilliant, I’d recommend it!
Because people believe in the long term viability of the project and see this as a great opportunity to average down? This isn’t Debenhams.
Plus we’re a mining company, we always dig when in a hole!
Black Sheep, you would probably have to allow for a certain amount of investors who just don't have funds available and also passive investors, who maybe haven't been keeping tooo up to date with what's been going on.
I had to remind one of my mates on Wednesday as he'd forgotten all about it.
Same here, HL have taken my basic allocations across my 3 accounts and also for extra 23k I requested on one account
For a SIPP transfer to go in from old WP pension.
Just requested 23,000 extra shares. Slightly more than the allocation I was allowed in the SIPP of 460.
If i get them it puts me in touching distance of my target number of shares (need another 5k shares I think)
Perfect, cheers AS. I'm with HL, I just know if it stays around any longer, some fees will come out or something and screw the whole thing up.
If they take our cash today?
I’m hoping so!
Myo* blooming auto correct
Yep Hughenden Mayo, beautiful place, lovely walled veg garden too. Just a shame you can hear the main road to Wycombe now and see some flats in the distance, must have been so tranquil in Disraelis time.
I heard one of the NT guides saying that the many books in his study are all academical and he used to say, if he wanted to read fiction he’d write it himself
Myo, how very random, I visited the former home of Benjamin Disraeli just yesterday (without realising it until I got there)!
Very true Dinger!
On the plus side I no longer feel the pain (or euphoria) of this shares rises and falls like I once did which hopefully will stand me in good stead in the future!
Really debated selling the smallest of my 3 holdings (SIPP- 10k shares) this morning when it was about 2% up to buy back in after a dump. but bottled it (my last attempt at trading this, after fees, netted me 45 extras shares)
Oh well have have a couple of £K due in the next few days from a pension transfer to SIPP, so willhopefully be able to buy some more at a cheaper price!
How shares bought vs sold actually works? As it makes little sense to me. For days the shares sold has been significantly higher than bought, yet SP has rocketed!
I can't help but get a negative vibe whenever Capital enter my thoughts, for some reason even though it's TM's husband that works there, all i see is a vision of Jacob R-M in my head
I’d calm down Jimmy you’ll burst a blood vessel :)
Might be worth explaining the UT trade in a bit more detail. I never understand what dictates the volume / size of the trade if anyone knows.
Hopefully, that's a big support for the project.
Let's hope it's for a long term hold. I have no experience in what there previous dealings in the O+G sectors were like.
