Nothing arrogant about me, but I’m glad it riled you. The truth is you come on here time and time again spouting incorrect information and are disapproved with evidence, yet keep you returning
Rerate*
Members the thing is you state strong sell then you must believe the SP will never get back above where it is today at this moment in time.
Even in the short - medium term I would hazard a guess it is above where it is today given aslong as we get the bonds away and get a retake.
If you spent some time reading about the company, you’d realise there are plans in place for repayment and schedules to do so. Something most LTH are well aware of. You have zero evidence the company will dilute again, so stating it is irrelevant.
So really your post and “strong sell” is just a load of tosh!
Exactly Chris, even if you sold those at 30p, it would be beneficial. Lower avg on the way in, lower remaining average on the way out!
Woolverstone and Dan have summed my thoughts up exactly! The fundamentals for this as a completed project give me enough confidence that the risk /reward is worth it.
And members et al are great at coming out the wood uniformally when there is a drop. Now where is that annoying avian creature?
Members can’t wait for your Buffetesque analysis why it should be worth nothing? Will you be publishing in hardback?
It’s funny how they all come out the woodwork at once...
Indeed Myo, many people are quick to write things off, but this is a constant moving environment, just like a garden, you can leave it, hope for the best and you’ll probably be ok, but with some maintenance and attention, there’s opportunity to create something special (Chelsea gold winner? Maybe not quite)
I think the ability to look at the situation and adapt accordingly / be confident in what your plan is, is what leads to success.
If your objective was to buy a bunch last summer and watch them grow you’re probably pretty frustrated.
As disappointing as that is, I’ve personally always had a stretch figure in my mind, which this dip has allowed me to reach much quicker than I ever expected, and hopefully in the next few weeks, we will be away from this price level for good.
I’ve also taken an opportunity to buy more shares above my dream holding level, which I’m planning to sell on the way up in blocks, to hopefully, if things go well, leave me less exposed with my core holding.
I personally think it’s a good strategy and Hopefully is based upon learnings from not selling some when I was in decent profit last August (more than doubled my shareholding, only about £1k up on last August)
Not pulled through on here yet. But can be found on the London Stock Exchange site. Also strangely posts on here, appear 2 minutes ahead of the actual time on my computer
Ah Zoe Perkins who deletes her messages.
A mentioned a while ago my first born is due in December and I’d love to open a Junior ISA and all being well will put some Into SXX shares for them.
I’ve been wondering how do you manage differing portfolio values amongst different offspring? I mean if I bought £1000 of Sxx for this one, and then when the 2nd is born the SP is double the price, they’re going to get less for their money.
Does this ever create conflict if one offspring ends up with a larger portfolio value at maturity due to no fault of their own?
I had thought of buying a set ammount off SXX now per offspring I expect to have I.e 3 kids = £3k. Then once I feel I won’t have any more children, sell the shares from my account and buy up the ammount in their ISA’s that day at the same time.
Then maybe deposit £100 per month from birth for each of them into funds.
Do you think I’m over complicating it?
Debt - is that what we call ourselves The Drillers? better than the Belliebers without a doubt!
Not obsessing, I'm the same as DGR, it's just interesting to look at trading patterns.
13 in a row at 20k shares too looks mixed buys and sells on here, so no idea which way it was actually going
They seem to be continuing. Someone doesn't want this moving north
4500 share sells coming through. Strange?
Myo, can I just do Latrigg 174 times (from the carpark)?
Stanley, Myo. I'd definitely be up for doing the Sirius Way! Day before the £1 party?
A little financial ambition is healthy, it’s when it consumes it ruins. Indeed, I believe in the project and it’s future ability to reward us shares holders, need to learn to avoid this place on certain days. I’ve probably hit a healthy enough ammount, so apart from looking at a few shorter term shares to sell when we hit the 20p-40p range, it’s time to bottom draw them for me.
Hopefully meet a few of you at the £1 party, whenever it arrives. I’ll bring the Yorkshire Puddings!
