@nobbynewboy, They actually work in tandem with Wind/Solar to store excess power generated during peak generation periods and then supply that power back when wind and solar are not generating (e.g night time for solar, calm periods for wind).

Correct pb940. They also took an additional $2m+ in shares at 9.9p or so when they could have pushed for cash so why sell now for less. IMHO they may sell some along the way to extract a chunk of their cash but may leave some in this time for the longer haul.
One gram of natural vanadium costs about $30, compared with between $5000 and $80,000 a gram for enriched calcium and titanium.
$30,000/kg for medical grade vanadium. Might be worth exploring further Fortune...just sayin'
