Directors didn't 'load up' with shares - they took them instead of payment as the company had no money (didn't forego, one should note). Fact I do note how you skipped over KS comment of 'dependant on funding of course'. Why wouldn't I like a boom time? It's not worth me selling up. I'd rather take the chance of losing what little is left as long as mugs like you are around to possibly make sure I get some more back. What exactly do you think a strategic investor is going to get in return for $10 million by the way? NAV/sh 35p. Best possible scenario outlined by the company themselves. 100 million shares (your figure) x 35p = a mcap of 35 million. Not hundreds of millions you muppet. Go back to fantasy land. Clearly no pi's would have taken up the OO when it was above the market price and dilution as a result, so let's see. I may go along to the AGM and vote to get KS out! (if they survive). Maybe the entire BOD should just get out there with shovels and replicate what the lone artisanal miner has just produced!

And to answer your points specifically:- 1. I first bought these in May 2011 (3.5p - before consolidation) - went down ever since. Stopped trying to average down as soon as Kono happened. Didn't sell immediately as I mistakenly believed the BOD that we were 'robbed' of the license and London legal/FCO opinion said we would get it back (according to emails from KS). Now, not worth selling when offset against the slightest of chances I may get a little more back. 2.I'm not gunning down any positive news. There is no news, just more blue sky promises with no actual events to yet confirm any of it happening. Heard it all before several times. 3. Shares in issue. Will be 37 million after OO though that looks unlikely to take place now (unless an ii in the know gets a nod and a wink of positive outcomes etc). Seeking to place an additional 50 million after 'strategic investor' is found, So, that will be 87 million shares in circulation, or 1.5x times more than at present. Major dilution. So, I'll have been consolidated then diluted. Great! 4. Reward may come if they actually pull this from the jaws of company death. Bigger of course if you get in later after the huge dilution takes place, no? 5. Any pi's looking at this now should definitely pay attention to the last 6 years and most certainly scrutinize who we are trying to deal with and why. Spend a little time looking into the wording of the suggested tribute and there's not even a guarantee that it would remain in place over the term! DYOR and if you are happy with the risk then fill your boots. Please don't tell the rest of us that we have no reason to complain though. It's our money that helped keepthis company going and has been wasted.

No worries, mate. I just want people to be aware of the history here, rather than the incessant blue sky ramping of the likes of Sonic. Sure, I want my loss to decrease. But I would need a 20x increase from the current level just to break even! See, the sp dropped like a stone (by 2/3rds immediately) when Kono license was taken off us (due to non compliance). Instead of coming clean on why, the BOD spun the story for years that they fully expected to get it back (even though two other holders have been granted the license since). Unfortunately, they didn't come clean and write it off until December in the latest financials. Are you aware that Karl Smithson has been involved in Tongo for more than a decade (and produced diddly squat)? Are you aware that Octea were also on the verge of having the Tonguma license cancelled also for non compliance? Sorry, but this 'deal' just smacks of desperation on both sides and 7 months after suspension there is still no deal signed (now a JV instead of a RTO ) nor investment coming in. Other assets have been JV'd off (clearly as we have no money) and yet we haven;t received a penny for them yet. Furthermore, STEL utterly failed in producing and selling the carats which they informed the market of (sales every two months). They happened twice and brought far less than expected. The news story today makes me laugh. BSG (now Octea) have been mining Koidu for years and have produced hundreds of $millions of profit. One guy with a shovel however makes STEL launch an RNS - when clearly to me it indicates this BOD haven't a clue how to find or mine real diamonds in an area full of diamonds! Someone getting in at these prices and looking to make a quick 10% then good luck to you all. No problem with that whatsoever if you believe it. However, even if they do survive there is going to be massive dilution above and beyond the OO - and we've all been informed of another 50 mil shares to be offered if it goes that far. We have here an insolvent company which has no agreement, no mining license, nor funding to continue as yet. Hard to see why anyone at all gets excited about that reality.

Good news for the guy who found it. Got absolutely no impact on STEL's own perilous position however.

2p this time next week would be optimistic! A company with no money and no investors is not undervalued - its about to go bust! If the BOD were capable of mining diamonds (profitably) they would have been doing so after 10+ years involved with Togo. Must be the most explored asset ever! Sonic and Co are simply reluctant to accept the unpalatable reality. We've all been there I suspect and no doubt they are feeling the pain too many in here have experienced already. I learnt my lesson , but i wont sit by and watch anyone trying to ramp this POS. Should they survive and anyone has the chance or recouping their investment - take it and run!

Sonic - many of the 'gaggle' as you refer to us happen to be LTH's. As such, we have every damn right to contradict your rampy posts and question the company's performance or claims. We've headr it all before and paid the price for it. If the economic argument is as compelling as you state, then do try and explain why no strategic investor/s have been identified yet, 7 months after the suspension was announced? Or why no pi's are piling in here? By the way, three of the peer companies mentioned are actually Canadian mines and therefore a far lower risk than anything in SL.
