As for Cobalt and Manganese, it would appear the new generation NCM811 cells will use less ratio:

8:1 Nickel to cobalt and Manganese and the next generation may well be 9:0.5:0.5 so a ratio of 18:1 NCM90 as they have named it.

Well as long as they use the very best lithium is what counts for BCN and a telling time for the quality aspect, I so recall Peter Secker mentioning Sonora lithium meets the higher Japanese battery-grade standards.

You could very easily believe that 65% of holders voted against whereas it now looks like those holding 65% of Ganfeng voted on the issue of H shares of those voting 65.1593% were in favour just short of the 66%+ required and in fact just 34.8407% voted against.

Of course, the outcome is still a no vote but not a 'Rebellion' by any means.

There's going to be fierce competition between Tesla, Rivian and Ford who are clear leaders in the US pick up selling just shy of a million F150 series in 2018 (as far as I can find)

With big batteries likely to be in the 200kwh range so probably circa 150kg LCE, if Ford went 50% EV that alone would be 75,000 tonnes of LCE!

Perhaps a big spike required in battery-grade lithium is on the horizon?

Safety trials passed, this is much sooner than I expected by a couple of years at least.

We could be seeing 200Kwh batteries and ranges above 500 miles, great that Ganfeng appear to be leading the way.
