Strange isn't it that Whisperpower developed a commercialised Stirling engine licensed by EON with a mere 1Kw output some en years ago. no longer inproduction - make way for the Inspirit!

We will see a convergence of technologies with smart grid, you might be part of a scheme where your input during peak hours is banked as a credit that can be used against future energy bills or use battery storage for own use as well as banking or receiving a feed-in tariff for surplus.

We are in a disruption period so don't look at the Inspirit tech in isolation, you will be blinkered in your decision - by the way, the new design gives 6.4Kw output.

Whispergen is no longer in production, Inspirit is well poised to take the mchp market if their claims are correct.

Barksy1, even if they concentrate on Storage they could be massive and remember what their plans were stated to be to licence the tech with Czech sourced lithium.

You recently returned from NASA, how did you succeed there?
We made a good impression in the US. We reached the final of the NASA iTech competition. We were even asked to develop a battery and a whole power system for the moon lunar vehicle that NASA is preparing. So we are currently working on it. We would like to have some prototype ready next year, then we will hand it over for testing.

What are your plans for 2020?
As I said, start a full-scale production in Horní Suchá. Ideal for three-shift operation. We will also work on a number of applications that will appear over the years.

Whispergen was taken on by E.ON back in 2010 but not much mention of this recently as far as my limited search has turned up, so I wonder if Inspirit has through R&D and improvements produced a game-changer?
