Some slightly optimistic simplifications going on here 😀.

At mo point have the IOCs reached an agreement (and they’re the ones with the oil let’s not forget).

They’re still hard over they want:

Fair and prompt reimbursement via an honest broker

An independent assessment of costs of production / transport

Repayment of arrears (over $1bn)

And all the above in writing in a contract that is legally enforceable.

This is the only time they have been (or will be) in a position of power do they have to take advantage.

No positive news on any of the above to date - Iraq and KRG can dance about with political sound bites all they like but binding agreements with IOCs not in sight yet.

There’s been no news for over 2 years! Can you point to the day that was good news?

So do they just sit on new Revolut value and enhanced NAV/Share or do they cash out of Revolut and actually have that money in MV accounts?

Oops - Feb 23 levels.

Put up - that might be true for GKP; it isn’t for DNO / Genel. They have deliberately cut production to reduce capex and Opex since Mar 23. They could get back to Feb 24 levels if agreements were satisfactory but it’ll take time.

We don’t know what it might be soon - correct, that depends on agreements with IOCs (which haven’t seen any positive conclusion since pipeline closed).

However we do know that recent production for local sales only has been significantly lower than export volumes pre Mar 23.

We also know that although blu thinks everything can be resolved in a single final meeting on Tuesday, prices, payment terms, volumes and repayment of monies owed have all been cited as precursors to ioc providing export levels - no positive news on any of these yet. IOCs have been shafted so many times they’ll be more careful over veracity and ability to enforce written deals now they have the power.

Still some way to go to get to full export volumes.

It was only £1.20 ish before the pipeline closed and at that point had more wells / production and had the possibility of winning the BB gas arbitration case.

Hope you’re right but think it’s going to take production in Oman to start and the restoration of dividends to get it above even £1.20.

GKP and Genel have several differences though. GKP is pretty much debt free and pays a dividend.

Not only is it confusing but guess it also potentially gives us the possibility of 2 days of XD falls.

One yesterday in the uk as expected then another this afternoon as US suffers its XD drop and the share price fall is mirrored in the UK.

Wonder how long dual listing will continue to be seen as advantageous?

If it’s a cut and paste from the RNS then it’s not an erroneous opinion is it?

If you’re going to invest that much you should watch the investor presentations!

Even if IOCs agree terms for export and itp opens and Genel actually get paid; there aren’t going to be any dividends or BBs, all money being saved for diversification opportunities.

He said he’d sold up! Although seemingly inventing some more to sell after results - but think these were imaginary.

Doubt he’s made more since selling up in July than he would have holding. His favourite, helix, is down since then.

We can all pick our timeframes to look at - I’m just happy we’re up over 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and a year.

The trend is up, the worm has turned - be happy with that for now. More to come as HH recovers back and 3.5.

Pretty impressive share price movement given no new news and HH still at 2.7 ish!

HH futures looking much more rosy than current prices with only 2 months below 3.5 next year.

Call that an average increase of 30% ish and present uptrend in share price should hopefully continue.

Some speculation over reasons for Sandy Stash’s departure - she’s 60 ish and on the Board of 7 other companies - so perhaps other commitments was indeed the reason; rather than any of the conspiracy theories. 😀

Genel IR have been terrible for years.

First good news they have had to publicise since Mar 23 and they’re late to issue an RNS.

WTF are they going that’s more important than helping the share price?

But does “our” mean DEC or the partnership with Carlyle?

Blu think you should have said we need some agreements on cost, debts, mechanisms.

Once agreed they can be written.

Once written they can be signed.

All much more complex than you intimate. No IOC agreements in place yet.

From the Carlyle RNS “Under the terms of the agreement, Diversified will serve as the operator and servicer of the newly acquired assets.”

Can we hope that Rusty will satisfy his buying urges by helping Carlyle to buy whilst DEC just provide expertise in the operating and optimising arenas?

If DEC could just get service fees per barrel whilst leaving the Capex to Carlyle that would be a perfect scenario for a few years. At least til they’ve saved up enough to borrow cheaply or use cashflow to buy.

Even with a JV they’d only have to borrow / raise half as much as going solo 😀. Perhaps he has seen the light!
