Thanx Bynari!
I'll take 2-4% rise every day for 2 months, quite happily!

Woke up, looked on myshiptracking, Icemax on it's way to... Malta??? :o
Thankfully, other sites say Freeport. :)

Good spot Molokai!https://www.myshiptracking.com/?mmsi=235092459
Thanks...
Where has this 'oil seeping through the sea bed' come from? I remember it showing in T&T at certain locations, but not in the Bahamas...

Operational Update - 'one month out' to Perseverance #1
· Perseverance #1 is on track to spud before the end of 2020:
o 100% equity to BPC, drilling of this potential basin-opening well anticipated to take between 45 and 60 days, with 'tight-hole' procedures in place
o targeting recoverable prospective resources of 0.7 billion barrels of oil, with an upside of 1.44 billion barrels, solely for the northern portion of the B structure
o in the event of success, Perseverance #1 would substantially de-risk the total B structure, which extends for between 70 and 80 kms, has a mapped areal closure of over 400 km2, and has a 'best estimate' aggregate recoverable resource potential in excess of 2.0 billion barrels
· The Stena IceMAX, one of the most technically capable drill ships in the world, has completed all necessary vessel and equipment inspections, and is scheduled to leave dock in The Canary Islands before the end of November 2020, heading to location in preparation to drill the well
· Specific transportation procedures, isolation mandates and quarantine protocols are in place to minimise any risk of Covid-19 disruption to the operation, supplementing comprehensive, approved environmental safety standards and procedures; the Bahamas Defence Force and US Coastguard have been briefed on operating and safety preparations
· All material contracts and supply arrangements completed, logistics and mobilisation plans finalised
· Formal confirmation from the Government of The Bahamas of a further extension of the 2nd exploration period of BPC's licences, from mid-April 2021 to the end of June 2021, reflective of the ongoing impacts of the Covid-19 force majeure
· Within BPC, the outcome of the Perseverance #1 well is now set within the strategic context of a portfolio business, with production and cashflow generating assets and a growing opportunity set of complementary assets across multiple jurisdictions
Woop woop!!! GLA!
One of the posters took a list of our spud guesses (can't remember who now), mine was 8.7p, though looking at the last couple of weeks, it could be higher - but I'll stick with that for now even if I'm quite wrong (hopefully in a good way)!
My last top up (which was just after the placing, silly not to take advantage) was at 2.1p, so I'm rather happy at the moment, but it would be nice if a Feb RNS started with 'We are ecstatic to inform the market that... etc, etc'!
Probable top slice around spud depending on price, then ride for a possible dream (20p+ personally, definitely not impossible!!!).
GLA, patience and nerves required!
That was for TRP BTW...
Rubbish! Look at the main index, a sniff of a vaccine and every man and his dog was buying the big guys... Rolls Royce up nearly 50%, AIM didn't get looked at, in fact, people probably sold their AIM to buy FTSE stuff...
WTAF is wrong with lse chat? For the last 2 weeks it's had outages, sometimes lasting hours?!
FFS, get a grip!!!
Rumours of a farm in would double this price, so not yet...
IRENE - Pretty sure you said "Saffron 1 will be a duster", and was proved hugely wrong, but can't be arsed to look through the history.
And welching on bets - "As I said I'm happy to bet where I have some control over what I think will happen."
Then why the F|_|CK are you here? Sure I've asked you many times, but your usual response (if any) is "I'm providing balanced views".... No, you're doing nothing more than being an argumentative C|_|NT, p|ssing people off with negative, unsubstantiated bu||****, and of course, being a pussy when it comes to bets!!! Please, kindly F_CK off!
No worries Bryn, wasn't a dig, just a minor correction. I reckon as Stena have been working non stop through all this (as have most of the bigger companies) with some changes obviously, BPC/Stena will be fine for P1, this has the potential to be life changing for some on here (and some who aren't invested yet), be it £10k, £100k or more.
As has been said many times already, this size of potential drill (which COULD derisk the whole structure) is a rare thing. I, for one will be holding til at least January and possibly the results depending on how much it creeps up - we all have our exit points...
GLA! :)
Sorry Bryn, you're a little wide of the mark with your non domestic travel assumption.
I maintain Helicopters in a SAR and Oil & Gas environment in Europe, lots of our clients personnel are locals (so are dropped off), some get the train, but many more are from all over Europe and get here by planes & trains (domestic travel).
In the Bahamas, they'll use locals if possible to keep labour costs down, however, any rotational personnel will be flown in from Europe/USA and other countries for specialist skillsets - admittedly, it's not a long drill contract, so they could possibly ask the peeps to do an extended rotation, I know loads in my line of work who do 8 weeks on.
So, travel restrictions COULD have a bearing, however, with the correct planning, this will be mitigated and disruption kept to a minimum.
I'd like 20p in January please!
GLA!
I work with helicopters, this year I've been in and out of Holland for SAR/Oil & Gas maintenance, no restrictions at all as it's rather essential which will continue to be so...
Nothing to see here, move on.
**** off TRP, lockdown shouldn't change anything.
Nothing for the board to update...
As has been said, Stena have operated this year, throughout Covid, without much difference (as have we - helicopter company albeit reduced flights), if people (companies) adapt, it's fine.
They WILL be spudding early in the window - MOST people think this will be just before christmas!
Anyone selling now in the lead up to spud is certifiable, there's always hype and excitement in this phase (when that'll start properly is anybody's guess), the closer we get, the more likely in a raise here (possibly not as much as 'normal' due to global uncertainty, but if this isn't 3-4p prior to spud, we may as well shut the world!
Change the record please Harry, we're all aware they said 'imminent', could be any number of reasons for the slight delay - news will drop when they're good and ready...
In the RNS, they said on site for around 15th Dec, with 3-4 days of set up, then spud...
