How about using Train 1 now whilst moving Train 2 closer to Hav? Spare parts from T2 available for breakdown etc. I believe original Telfer plant was sold and moved elsewhere too.

Directors most likely cannot buy if within 30 days of news. And we are expecting news next week. It would be good to see purchases straight after whilst priced so low. They probably have bonus shares and options too...

Could Fed Deep be held up cos CNOOC have Preemption Rights, often written in these contracts? It would explain the JV move for CC ONLY. Unless CC includes FD? Sangomar Deep had preemption rights exercised by WDS for CNEs share of the field in 2020. (I held FAR at the time).

My last 2 top ups/average downs are showing as sells. But happy lowering my average where I can. Increased flow rates, higher oil price, zero hedge, JV partner, 1billion barrels. Come on...

Thanks Eazy, appreciate the current hedge figure supplied. I am certainly well loaded here, looking for a small buy today to average down some more. Did not mean to be negative with my hedge post. Looking forward to hearing about the increased pressures and production soon and the JV.

Many talking about oil price rises here. The HEDGES have just kicked back in, so does that not mean the price rise is no benefit till above circa 1500 barrels/d? Don't recall the new hadge barrels figure from July/August 2023. Hopefully the JV cash element will allow closure of debts.

Just for info, a CR for $250K was announced here in Australia. Did not see a UK RNS yet. Due around 7th Sept when trading begins again

Ed, is it possible that CNOOC have preemption rights over any BFU DEEP sale/JV? This may explain why CC only for now? Not an unusual clause in a contract??

Reading the MD&A I recall reading a line about $0.8M receivables being owed to us from a partner or similar. This could be 15% of the F.Deep costs owed by CNOOC for 2 H wells. Around $5.4M total?
