I honestly thought I was so clever spotting this at ipo at 100p a few years ago
Turns out I am not clever
Seems unfair that we are punished 15% with the latest duster when there was nothing in the sp priced in for success.
That’s life. Back to sleep on here for me for another 18months at least
Good luck all
Weirdly the July drilling is a threat. Inferred gold is priced Lowe than proven gold. As drilling progresses inferred gold is proven so the price goes up
The longer they drill the more it’s going to cost any potential acquirer
Bills stated timeline on the q&a after the presentation was months for a corporate transaction
Hope that helps
Wow what a bullish presentation. Time to get these golden tickets cheap while you can, sale imminent with a target price of 80p+. Still cheap for the resource that Landore has, current mcap doesn't even cover Nickel, let alone gold.
As an example recent sale of a company Bill gace was a company with 600m oz that sold for £50m. We have 1500m oz proven with a potential of 5m oz, plus the Nickel and trading at just £20m, it's laughable. BOD have mafe it clear they expet to sell within a few months.
Post on Twitter from someone that was there
it is to Bill...how many years of his life? and whats his average? 55p without adjusting for opportunity cost and inflation...
you and I would take any deal...Why would Bill take a deal that isnt mega??
I hope I am wrong
There is little free float here. Most shares held by sprott and bod. The plus is that no one can build a stake and mount a hostile takeover at a price based on our current sp. The minus is no ii is interested in building a stake. We are too small for them to bother with and there aren’t enough shares to gain their interest
So the plus is the sale price will be agreed by the bod and sprott. We really won’t get a say. So saying we would be happy with 83p or 200p or whatever won’t matter a joy in the endgame
Bills av is above 55p however you calculate it. He is a rich man. He didn’t need to sell ever. He is 82. Ever isn’t that long for him. Put yourself in his shoes Is he going to sell his later life’s work for 82p. No why would he?
Is he going to want a massive premium to crown his life’s work? I would if I was him. So we either sell for a price all of us would dream of (250p+) or bill will die still negotiating the deal.
Just my opinion. But my albatross n2mu might be correct and no sale this year. But if there is a sale expect it to be for a price higher than you hoped
Tonight will be interesting
All agree landore has the right goods in the right place at the right time. No doubt there will be interest from multiple parties, all with cash being eroded by inflation
The question mark is whether the bod (bill specifically) has the desire to get a deal over the line. He will want a great price (not just a good price) so it will take time and before nm2 says it, might never happen
I myself believe bill will get a deal. Maybe that’s my bias. Time will tell. I am locked in for the duration
Good luck all
No better time to sell really Inflation high. Big players flush with cash that loses value daily. Sterling down against most currencies Metal prices up and going up further.
Safe jurisdiction. Bod done it before. Articulated strategy to sell
It’s hard to **** this up you would think
Most shares are in sticky hands so there is a small free float
For all practical purposes tgat means there is no chance of a predator building a significant enough position to initiate a hostile takeover
As another poster says any sale will be based on the asset prices in the market and not our lowly share price
And of course for the purpose of balance there will be no sale because the bod haven’t sold it before (I hope you all can see the flaw in that logic)
Sp a bit mad. Somebody has been dumping 8 million shares
Smarttech rto into ccap will add up to 2.5 to the present nav of about 1.5. That’s a month or so away
Then we have a low6 ipo
And Pluto will be doing similar
Meanwhile we yield 5% or so
The market is bonkers here imho
