It was actually dnwll NAV calculation that prompted my decision to sell. Share price 35 and NAV 63. Less a bit probably. So I could choose to wait a couple of years and possibly see a 60% return or jump and try elsewhere. Had the NAV been higher i might have done differently. I have only been in it 9 months so after my special dividend I made 300quid on 20k. I realize I am one of the lucky ones as I bought after woodford. I wish you all good luck here and hope I am wrong and you all get 60% from here quickly

Crystal amber have told them to cut costs, concentrate on monetizing the existing assets, and no new investments. I don’t foresee any news tomorrow that would be transformative as you hope I am afraid. I hope I am wrong. I think it’s just one of those investments that as you say will give 10 or 20% over the next 18 months. I will live with that but quite understand other investors moving on. Echo1. Normally what you suggest I.e sell if nothing happens tomorrow is ok. But I suggest it might be different here. ALM is an investor in other companies. It is there where the value is. Federated wireless holding alone is probably worth more than ALM Patience and waiting for the value in their holdings to be monetized is the strategy for me. The ALM price would probably reduce as holdings are monetized but hopefully the sum of the parts will be a lot more value. Certainly crystal amber believe that. Obviously dyor but think a bit deeper here rather than just the ALM share price can’t hurt

Never set a stop loss on a round number. Certainly not one divisible by 5 and especially not 10. If you look at tradingview, type in the share code, click on the tab marked technical. Scroll to the bottom and on the left there is a table of resistance points. Stop loss under one of them with a fractional price is not a bad method. Tradingview is free so take a look

Ii money has lost interest I suspect until nearer the time news is due. So a month at least for price to drift down maybe? Not a chartist but 45.8 was resistance. Next resistance is 31p. So if you believe in that stuff take care

I saw your "defence" of me selling 390,000 shares in HUR on the HUR board. I agree with your strategy of selling down non-performing shares and diversifying into opportunities that are likely to rise faster. is my opinion...Good luck with your investment. Its no longer for me. I bought in 4 or 5 years ago at about 34p. Topped up a few times. Too many in retrospect lol..I believed we would prove the FB model and get bought out by a major. I had hopes on BP at above 100p...yes only a 3 bagger. Then had dreams of over 300p lol...Unrealistic I know...but it was my retirement vehicle. I admit I was naive and got carried away with the hype and Trice could do no wrong. Mea Culpa...I blame no-one but myself

Look at the chart and tell me that has been a good investment by any criteria you choose over any time frame you choose . I rarely post but I see others like Diver who had the same dream as me. I really hope it works out for you all..but investing in a small marginally profitable producer isnt what i dreamt i was signing up for. For me the story has changed...but if this is your dream come true and what success looks like for you then I am happy for you

the dram of a 10-bagger is dead. We need to accept the story has changed from those halcyon days 3 or so years ago. We are now a minor producer making marginal profit. Nothing wrong with that per se...but its not why I invested. Its not going bust but its not going to make us rich. I used to have 480,000 of these..luckily I sold 390,000 at 32p...albeit with a 50K loss. Now 90,000 that i wont look at for 5 years,,,bye all
