From my experience in mfg it is pretty difficult to turn an R&D company (which GDR was/ is excellent at ) to a revenue generating sales led company. If it were not for the Beckman deal I would not be invested here still, as I dont think David Budd is the man to monetise the company assets. The products are great. The revenue to-date is minimal. It has to change in order to be a successful company. None of that is debateable

IF we get major sales in India I will be pleasantly surprised

and the constant comparison by some against other companies (AVCT) is a waste of your breath. AS (avacta CEO) is a great salesman and gives a great presentation. David Budd is not a great salesman, and gives lousy presentations

I personally am expecting GDR to come good (via Beckman) DESPITE David Budds competence in sales and marketing. However his previous relationship with Beckman have made him very valuable to us indeed

David Budd and his sales team have been appalling at recognising revenue from GDR tremendous R&D. The sales team can hide behind any excuse they like but they have failed.

However that is looking backwards...not forwards.

Beckman will sell enormous quantities and save the day for us. It is just a question of time. Beckman have committed resource (recruitment, marketing and some cash). Beckman have ready access to the mass market in the USA, and Europe. So Beckman alone will sell many multiples of our market cap...which will make us all wealthy with the consequent rise in share price

Myself..I had written off India. Still dont see it as being massively profitable as it will be very price sensitive. South Africa might come good. Philippines might add a bit. The fabled 1million sale in Europe (dependant on approvals) might actually end up being real...

But Beckman dont fail...so just patience required until their selling machine starts to kick in

Latest explanation is margin calls forced by aaa suspension result in selling ASLR and dev. Same big holders in all so is credible to me

the mms will keep the price low for as long as there are mugs selling...981k sold this morning already....so the mms are very efficient

however the numbers dont lie and are self evident...eventually we will sell 2m/ week of something...so just wait for that to happen imho....

dont look at the share price daily or the mms will wear you down

the govt has been waiting for Avacta to get their test fit for purpose.

It was always going to be Avacta imho. The govt made an emotional buying decision 6 months ago and since then we have all been waiting for them to deliver. I hold ODX (but as a mfg play...they will make 2m a week of something/ whatever it is and sell the lot), Avacta (as thin they have the best tech, and not just for Covid...Covid is just a way for them to fill the coffers while they get on with the cancer stuff) and recently I bough a slug of ABDX at 55p because we will mfg ****loads ongoing

All good imho....I dont believe in the Covid wars between us shareholders....there is money for all ....and for a long time...unfortunate health wise for the world I agree

India news is good, Beckman will be better...and we know its coming. Look forward...not back......and all I can see is a rise in our fortunes

I think the plus for us here is that DVR has over 16% and he is in Dev for the long haul....so temporary share price pain...top up when it gest low enough I suppose is the answer for us lth
