To be working on a Saturday evening banging the drum to get shareholders to get their proxy votes form in the system really does suggest something interesting. Normally AGM’s are boring but I sense this is building up to something important. Why else would registered shareholders receive this notification at this time of night on a weekend?

I have attached a voting form which I will need to be signed and returned along with a proof of holding screen shot – the deadline for votes is this evening so this is one last attempt to drum up any final votes!

Just received an email from Mandy saying registration for proxy voting ends tonight and if I have not done so to please do so. They could be short of the 25% needed. Oh dear.

Not sure it will be a let down.

I sent a proxy form request to Mandy this morning, filled it out, scanned it, sent it back with Hargreaves Lansdown contract note.... Proof of holding and sent it back all within 1 hour of my email being sent. Easy Peazy. All shareholders ought to do the same if you have not done so.... French rules not ours.

I have spoken with a very helpful lady at Talk Radio, and requested a transcript of the article read out at 05:30. This request has been sent by email.

Did anyone else hear the presenter say the UK government have committed to 50 million Covid test kits from UK supplier Novacyt. I am sure this is what she said. I may be wrong. Happy to be corrected but am 99% sure this is what she said.

OK, it is not us (NCYT)......just found this on the web. The company is called Color.........

"SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — May, 20, 2020 — Today, Color announced it has received an emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to use LAMP technology for COVID-19 testing. Color is publishing its protocol for LAMP, or Loop-mediated isothermal amplification, for other labs to replicate. Color has also posted a protocol for employers to offer accessible testing in the workplace, and is designed to reduce the risk that employers are forced to shut back down due to outbreaks after reopening the workplace."

Just seen this post on the IAG discussion page. It would be fascinating if this Covid test was issued by NCYT distributor in the USA.....

I have no holding in IAG, but have been watching with much interest. Shocking for LTH. I do wonder at how many retired BA staff hold considerable holdings and watch with dismay this downward trend. My thoughts are with you, wish it would reverse, but somehow cannot see the bottom. I very nearly had a punt when it was at £1.80...............
