A few superior feathers ruffled today!

I still don’t know why anyone would waste time posting that they are not posting. Very amusing but not important.

The information is out there and anyone, not childish enough to hide it, such as ALT and his very welcome post earlier must be welcomed but the “it’s my ball and you’re not playing” brigade are just pathetic.

As a shareholder who despite having a very large investment in AFC and been a holder for around 10 years it is very disappointing to hear some of the snobbery and cheap shots aimed at people like myself because we are unable to attend the AGM!!

Reports from fellow shareholders who attended the AGM are always most welcome and beneficial to everyone going forward and yesterday’s reports are of course very reassuring.

I would suggest however that there is a clique developing whereby “some” people who are able to attend the AGM seem to think by doing so makes them superior to other shareholders, well sorry guys, we all pay our money, we all take our chances and we are all equal. One man’s £100 investment means as much to him as another man’s £100,000 investment.

If you want to play your silly little games of coming on to an AFC discussion board to only discuss that you were at the AGM but not actually discuss the company and add to the mix of conversation related to the future then perhaps you should go and start (although you probably already have) your own little “we were at the AGM” WhatsApp group. You could even get your own tee shirts made so that if any of us minions see you in the street we will recognise you as superior and will of course bow to your greatness.

Ok, sarcasm and joking aside, I think everyone here should grow up and discuss the company situation like adults or just not bother writing anything at all.

Sounds like there more interested in sorting out their own rewards before generating orders and updating shareholders on failed previous news issues.

I really thought today would be a very positive day but it doesn’t seem that way!

I would suggest AB’s remuneration is based not on what we see but on what we can’t see.

In other words the company and major institutional shareholders know what’s coming and feel AB has contributed massively towards this and therefore has been paid accordingly.

If this is the case then we all have a lot to look forward to and in big part this is due to AB.

As I have been saying to my wife for years………… Size isn’t everything!!!! lol

Should have said Tax relief ends

It wouldn't take much.

I remember a few years ago a website update was announced and the price took a really big spike, I can't remember the exact amount it went up but am sure someone will remember?

Also, the tax relief on the diesel comes into force on Friday, if we get news on some Mace orders I could see us go way past 50p, perhaps a big spike which would settle back until the next big news but never the less, potential for a rise between now and AGM in my opinion.

I never at any point mentioned you. I made a statement mentioning no one by name, going by the many likes I got to my comments people agreed.

I have no idea why you took it so personally and thought I was referring to you when I never even mentioned you.

You were the only person who actually replied and you did so by mentioning me and saying you would not share your experience of the day which I said was your prerogative so your attacking me for no reason but if you do, don’t expect me to sit back and just accept it without response.

I responded to a direct comment to me after my earlier post, which was in response to a comment by someone else who implied that if people have questions to ask they should attend the AGM.

I’d love to go and hopefully will someday but not this year.

I’m not arguing with anyone just trying to explain that for those of us heavily invested who can’t attend, we still have a right to get honest answers from the BOD without having to travel 100’s of miles to the AGM.

It is always interesting and good to hear comments from attendees who are happy to share their views from the day.

Not you Bondy, but there have been people saying words to the effect of you have no right to hold the company to account if you don’t attend the AGM. Which is unfair when we have a large stake in the company.

Whether you do or not, I honestly don’t care, what the company says, which will be relayed if deemed important and what the the share price is, that’s what matters.

Feel free to share your thoughts, but that’s all it is thoughts but don’t think you have the right to criticise people who are unable to attend. Did you attend the event in Dundee a couple of years ago? Of course you didn’t!

Just a quick note to the “I’m better than you because I’m going to the AGM” brigade

We don’t all live within an easy commute of the location.

If I went it would involve an 8 hour drive each way, probably 3 nights hotel accommodation, hundreds of pounds worth of fuel which is diesel!!! and time away from home.

We can’t all attend the AGM and although I would love to attend, all the points will be available to view afterwards and all the ones from here that go will be so up themselves and want to impress everyone else so much by how clever they are, they will relay everything through this message board anyway so what’s the point?

I look forward to hearing all about it, thanks but please don’t assume we are all the same.

I always find it interesting reading the replies to posts AFC put on LinkedIn.

A couple of interesting ones on the recent Power Tower post are from guys from Mace and Sainsbury's.

The SP not great at the moment but I feel very optimistic about the next few months and can see a lot of orders for the new products coming in.

I’ve tried to keep quiet about yesterdays RNS for fear of being classed as deramper as opposed to a frustrated long term holder of AFC shares.

But in all reality the RNS could have read as follows.

We have given a fuel cell out at (presumably) a vastly reduced cost on a try before you buy basis.
If they like it they will place an order later in the year.

This is not what I want to hear right now but sadly it is exactly what we were told yesterday.

I have still a lot of confidence in AFC delivering but when people say we’re playing the long game, after 10 years I would have liked to see something far more substantial being announced by now.

I certainly won’t be giving up and the rewards could be very substantial but for the love of God let’s see some decent orders!

If I had news, I would discuss it, as this is an AFC Energy discussion board, but as I don’t have any news on AFC, or anything to say about AFC I won’t discuss anything here.
