If you bought in around 80p you’ll be well down. But if like many of us, you were here when it went down to 4p, you might say it’s been a tremendous rise in the last year or so.

No one is happy with the sp dropping or lack of orders but there is still certainly all to play for and a lot to be positive about.

How long until Sturgeon and her cabal are all over this and taking credit for it?

Gut wrenching to watch but I suppose on this occasion, publicity is a good thing.

If the pay incentive has been rejected already and the staff already in place being well rewarded the question has to be why keep pushing the issue?

My theory is that they have someone specific in mind, they are trying to head hunt that particular person as they will be an asset to the company going forward.

Why else would they be so bothered about this.

Just picking up on the point of shifting goalposts and I’m wondering if that’s necessarily a bad thing!

If we look closely at the statements that came from AB late last year we would feel within our rights to be bitterly disappointed even let down or cheated by the lack of orders and drop in sp so far this year and we could be forgiven for feeling misled.

HOWEVER, we were probably all expecting some positive movements from February but in February Russia invaded Ukrainian and the gas, oil situation fundamentally changed.

The theory I am suggesting is that at the end of last year, AFC had their main focus on the building trade but when the war broke out everything changed, including AFC’s focus.

The fact that the government have held back on imposing a windfall tax on oil companies despite opposition and public anger, and standing by the line that oil companies are reinvesting in renewables makes sense.

ABB/Shell is the main one that concerns us.

So let’s say yes, the goalposts have shifted and AFC have had to move heaven and earth to get the S Seres up and running faster than originally planned and most focus is on this now.

If this is the case, it would explain why it seems development has been slow with regards to Power Tower and news, so we may be six months behind where we thought we would be now but we may well also be six months ahead with the S seres?

It is confusing but hopefully all ok

Can someone tell me how safe the deal between phe and hui is and how?

I’ve been with phe for years but struggling to understand what’s going on, hui are over 6p sp and phe are under 2p yet it is our product.

What’s to stop hui from going ahead and cutting out the middle man, us?

I know there is an agreement for hui to market phe technology but the RNS today seems strange, why would hui and phe be in talks if they are already in a relationship?

I’m sure there’s a perfectly logical explanation, I would love someone to explain it to me because my head hurts trying to figure it out.

Curlyput, I don’t agree with you about government being lax.

I saw an interview with Rishi Sunak yesterday and he said he has put pressure on oil companies to move quickly in the renewable sector and said he has warned them that if they don’t move quickly he would not rule out a windfall tax.

The agreement between ABB/Shell and BP/Toyota don’t look lax.

Again, these things take time, even when being rushed through so I’m confident things are moving from a government perspective.

Hopefully we will get something from AFC soon as the product by all accounts is ready to go.

This is starting to feel like a **** take!

Yes, there are other forces at work, I get that but come on, the Power Tower, the great saviour of the building industry, not one order!

The lack of news or even LinkedIn post is deafening and certainly isn’t helping the current situation.

If we genuinely have products ready to go then why are all the stops not being pulled to fill the mass production site with staff and get these products to market.

If there are delays in getting parts, we deserve to know there is a delay and when we can actually see some real progress because frankly this is not acceptable and a disgusting way to treat shareholders

After the tie in between ABB/Shell and today VW/BP it’s starting to look like the race to get the EV infrastructure in place is starting to heat up with big names looking to be first.

The market really is truly massive when we think about it, taking Shell and BP forecourt’s before even starting on workplaces, supermarkets and everywhere else in between.

If the race really is on, the next logical step has to be physical installations which equals orders.

A race to be first or there abouts can only be a good thing for everyone.

I have just been wondering what/when/how etc the ABB/Shell deal affects AFC.

Obviously we have no real idea of timescale and we don't know locations or how many will be using the AFC technology or even indeed what parts of AFC technology (although we have been told s seres later this year/2023)

So just taking a total stab in the dark with the information provided ie 500,000 units by 2025.

If that was to start slowly, say 50,000 units in the the first year and AFC were to get 0.5% of that, we would have an order of 250 units in some way, shape or form.

This is based on very little and probably me just thinking out loud, but it certainly looks very positive that's for sure.

That's more like it. This all we want, steady, positive communications. Not too much to ask for.
