Anyone's guess the way markets are these days.
The hedged fuel bit is old news, they are standing their ground re SGC demonstrating that they need NEX more than the other way round, there is nothing not to like in those results. IMO pre covid prices or near to them will only come when dividend is reinstated at full year and geo news landscape significantly improves.

Pointless analyst note by Berenberg.
One one hand they lower the price forecast based on crunching the numbers as if the merger won't go through, rather than wait until after tomorrow.
On the other hand bang on about what good value they are.

We may escape a real mauling Monday because of the weekend. Will probably open red but they also sold off Thursday and Friday wasn't as bad as it could have been.
I think despite the FTSE performing generally well, mainly because of maybe 20% of the companies outperforming, UK stocks are generally so undervalued , and all the news was out there during the day Friday, so it would be quite frankly pathetic and embarrassing just for us to have a similar meltdown to them. And also the BOE is talking about rate rises in a far less aggressive manner than Powell and his cronies.
Banks may get hammered this week which will drag the ftse down, markets and analysts are forecasting Lloyds for example being 25% down on profits from last year, but mainly because they excess cash not used for loan provisions last year, but markets will soon it to their paymasters interests no doubt.
Tuesday maybe be better given the UN and Putin meeting.

Yeah totally agree, and despite my constant frustration at the way the sp has behaved the last 6 months to a year, there is nothing that concerns me, except the possibility of a very bad Monday given the US meltdown.

As you say, consistently positive results, revenue growth, shorts closing, entry to Saudi hopefully forecasting further growth, eventually the fundamentals will force a rerate.
I think Canetoad is right by saying this isn't a well traded retail share so is an easy target at times.

Thank god its the weekend, and hopefully things will have calmed by Monday. The UK wasn't too badly affected today although it was a down day.
Probably because everything is so undervalued.
The number of times they've said exactly the same thing, aggressive tightening, several 50 base point rises, bla bla bla, and yet they react like this , even one healthcare company over there has dropped 20% today because they forecast higher labour costs this year. Really 20%, makes me a little more comfortable holding undervalued UK stocks at these times.

It's not a case of patience here, it's just accepting that corrupt forces are at play. For example look at how much was sold after hours when it spiked to 110 a few weeks ago, PIs didn't have that opportunity to top slice or trim holdings, maybe for 1 minute at 4 30 but that's about it.
Also this week those 2 very large buys late one afternoon, no impact on SP at all, I think they were 30-40 million weren't they?
What length of time does anyone determine as being patient, 1 year, 2 years, 6 months or as long as it takes.
This is one of those shares that really does test your patience.

Ftse futures are 1 % down, maybe will change overnight but doubtful.
Plus given that China locking down will give markets another excuse to sell off.
I guess it's only good for people trading, not for long term holders hoping to recover losses.
I have written this year personally, given Russia, inflation/ interest rates, cost of living, partygate, far right runner in France, where is the good news going to come from to give markets a boost!

Why do they have to have a meltdown everytime the Fed repeat the same message about raising interest rates and taming inflation ?

Check out network international, closing price 242, adjusted to 229 on 2 very small sells at 5.07, I can't understand how it was adjusted based on those 2 trades?

It's not exactly the last trade, it's not of any real relevance, so why that particular trade?

I guess the solid fundamentals shown consistently through the results and updates will eventually win over. Plus shorts have significantly reduced.
It's just a waiting game here.

To be fair, SGC hasn't moved off 105, and they will have to clarify on trading update week after next.

This isn't even moving with travel stocks, its been kept in a tight 1% either way trading range the last month.
Markets must be waiting for SGC clarity.
