This hasn't got a chance when it is subject to the same treatment as the Nasdaq.
They say look for a company with good fundamentals, that is growing , showing a profit, minimal debt, exceeding market expectations, and hold.
What is the point, this us 50% lower than 1 year ago and the company is in better shape , but it is being treated by the market similarly to high tech US growth companies.

Possibly background selling here?

Nothing is going to change sentiment here at the moment, not smr orders, not the Aussie engine order, not even a decent trading update next week.
So my view is you just sit in the red until sentiment changes, you sell up at a loss and try not look at the sp ever again, or you you rob Peter to pay Paul by selling up at a loss, investing elsewhere, and lose more.

How can this company with increasing revenue, increasing net profit, forecast to increase its dividend this year, be 69p ?

Surely it's way undervalued, can only be purely because of her streaming plan right?
And with the current debt also reduced this year to just over 400 million, that's not unsustainable.

And do people think or the markets think that this expansion plan will come at the expense of future dividends?
I'm looking at the stockepedia forecast for 2023 dividend as being 5p.
Seems like a no brained at 69 p.

I thought I was bad off at being averaged at 100, which I felt wasn't overpriced !!

I'm talking generally about the Ftse usually following what goes on stateside. Take today, everything seemed set for a stonking day, wall street rally last night, ftse 100/250 both well over 1%, and then dow futures drop sharply and our good day turned to s--t. Its so predictable.
The only good thing at the moment is a lot of UK sticks are so cheap, that they havnt got that far to fall.

The way things are winding up on Wall Street tonight, could be an awful day tomorrow.

Dow is 4% down, Nas 6%, doesn't bode well for tomorrow

Putin is already at war with Ukraine, despite what he calls it.
The worry is if he declares war on the West on May 9th if he hasn't got some sort of victory to spin in Russia by then. Then it will be March 20 all over again
