I agree, return to profitability, slight debt reduction and 2p interim dividend would be perfect.

I don't want a downbeat sombre monotone update glossed over with record revenue blag.

Got a good feeling, other companies with high debt levels returning to profit are all doing well, m&s and RR for example.

Yeah what she meant by progressive dividend policy is a huge drop in share price to increase the yield!

Trying to get my head round FSG compared to this.

Looks as though the debt is approximately similar, also paying a dividend.

Difference is the share buyback which was initially taken well by the market, and that they are profitable at both operating and net levels.

So to me that suggests that the huge Alsa wrote off which essentially made the company not profitable at FY is what has done the most damage the last 5 months.

It's all very well saying that revenues are at record levels, leverage is reducing, we're paying a dividend, but by the way there is huge write off so we've made a loss.

Imo it's as simple as that.
