I'm questioning everything now, because when you look at the cash generation here, TRN fundamentals ( buyback enhanced, upped guidance twice), it seems the market and their makers are more interested what brokers FEEL, rather than the hard cold figures.

It's only what the market is insinuating, but as I've said, I cannot see the need or the desired outcome.

That's my point paddyboy, if the company are to be believed and they do retain 300 million as required ( in addition to undrawn rcf and the nasb monies), how could there be any need to raise cash?

Unless and related to lack of auditors there is something extremely unsavoury under the bonnet.

Even if they doubled shares in issue, that raises circa 100 million.

This isn't alone, some of my what I'd consider as less volatile safer stocks just keep falling week after week. Relx, Bunzl, Lseg, and Trn as mentioned below, and besides Bunzl the others have all exceeded guidance. So my conclusion is that because the actual Ftse 100 is at record highs, the market is perceiving all companies are artificially inflated by AI, so currently it doesn't really matter how well they perform, market wants to take them lower.
