Because my overall average in that pot is 96 and hadn't yet reached my target of 140 which is what I need to make up some other losses previously crystallised in that ISA.
I know I was up on that purchase but I need 140 on that 100k really. Should have sold half and bought something else I know.
Polish one
I've got way too many of these for my liking, daily stressing territory, and I've only added never trimmed.
Right now I'm seriously regretting not selling half my 100k ISA holding at 92 which would have been a couple k loss, I had doubled that holding from 50 to 100 when were last at 58 in October.
I wouldn't mind so much if we had a different board but because of them it's a very uncomfortable hold.
I've got other holdings in MCG also in different places. Too risky and can't wait to reduce exposure.
Trenners
Between this and MCG I've aged significantly the last couple of years, got about your level of investment here in MCG, so I know how you feel.
But I'm not going sell out of either if/when I ever break even.
This has been fairly steady recently, just really poor markets today.
If you look back when this seemed to settle after a month following August's rns, and then markets tanked for a week or so in October taking it from 16s back down to 15s again, then it started it's upward move to 20s again.
Subject to further middle east escalation I'm hopefully expecting a similar move again.
Conger
No it doesn't I agree and somewhat provoked the Iranians through their attack on 1st April. However to accuse of mass genocide is just being anti Jew imo, mass genocide was the holocaust, Bosnia, Rwanda etc etc
It's the ignorance of some posters here automatically banding all Jews around the world in brackets as ( Israelis).
There are Jews in Africa, yes black Jews, there are Arab Jews in Jerusalam.
Paddyboy
We've heard diddly squat about actual trading this year, the impact of price increases last year, all we heard is how Alsa performed well and US performed as expected for the FY23.
As you know we don't hear a word from Oct to March every year, it's just not good enough and there's nothing we can do.
Assuming that they report ( whenever they're ready) as they usually do on a Thursday, I'm expecting an RNS this week confirming next Thursday, or one on Monday stating further delay.
The last rns sounded like a small child saying " it's not my fault mum this latest Germany business"
Excuse after excuse imo
Wealth
I just cannot think of any reason not to offer some positive update on the sale or Q1 trading if there is anything positive to say, given we're where we were after the Oct profit warning.
It's beyond farcical how poor this board is, either way whether they're sitting on positive news or have a further downgrade to announce.
How after 4 years of this is Garat still in post and seemingly totally unaccountable for failure.
F me, some of you people are beginning to sound like Hitler and Nazis in the early 1940s.
More Asians / Arabs have far more assets and money than the small % of Jews you're referring to.
Tines like this when terrorism becomes legitimate and a blind eye is turned, under the pretence of being pro Palestinian.
When in reality people just want to hate Jews.
I'm not defending their indiscriminate bombing, but how are you supposed to defeat an enemy that uses its people as human shields.
Genocide is gassing 6 million Jews, slaughtering women and children in mass graves in Bosnia, mass killing in Rwanda.
Anyway looks like the sell off will be a day late.

If this were a ftse 100 company, one of them would have gone by now.
Garat has just been a disaster since being in post 4 years ago, and Stamp also in his 18 months.
I'm stuck in this share because over half my holding is in an ISA/ SIPP, so really I can give it as long as needed. But it's so uncomfortable holding not knowing what they're going to say next, or when.
Problem for all us here is we all probably well down as it is, I mean how low would a black Swan event take us!!!
We are beyond well down as it is.
The only thing that can stabilise this is a date for FY23, a decent TU for q1, and news on a NA sale.
Unfortunately we're relying on the board for this.
I'm waiting to use my Isa allowance either to buy another 30 to bring my 100 isa holding average down, or just to open a new one and buy possibly IAG / Easy if the sell off there is big.
Unfortunately there seems no accountability or even acknowledgement of how poor they've performed.
Possibly only Cosmens has enough power to make changes.
Anymore let downs, downward revisions, or new skeletons, then heads need to roll immediately imo.
Even the analysts are now downgrading price targets to 80 not even knowing how the 1st quarter is performing in 24.
Scaremongering
No they're not, there will be a retaliation but not going to war.
Laralara
Nothing makes them answerable.
I've emailed IR 3 times and zero response.
We are in their hands.
Thankfully Cosmens have a large stake and we have their crown Jewel "Alsa", for whatever peace of mind that's worth.
In my limited experience, I find it hard to accept that an efficient CFO could oversee such a catalogue of errors in almost the entirety of hus tenure.
Laralara
If only it was something good rather than revision after revision , time to complete it, incompetence!!!
Absolutely, the long periods of silence, the delays and general uncertainty keeps the share price deflated, but it feels like too many errors and excuses over a significant period of time to be solely to keep thus a 60p shares for certain stakeholders benefit.
All I want is a board that updates more often, and when they make announcements, we can be fairly confident in what we've been told.
Not too much to ask is it.
Reason I said that is they report on Thursdays so they would have to know the date by end of next week to meet their second half of April deadline, in other words Thursday 25th. But I guess they could go differently and do either Monday 29 or Tues 30 to meet that deadline.
Their communication with shareholders is awful at best. We get no update for 6 months from October to March usually.
One would assume they will update us on how 24 is going, but you never know with them.
Hence my utter frustration and loss of confidence in this board.
