SOLG isn't really about a copper/gold mine, it seems to be a long term cash cow for hundreds of people who's only source of income for nearly 10 years has been other people's money, they haven't made a single penny and as long as they can successfully raise funds it seems they aren't particularly bothered if they don't get to production for another 10 years.
Not that they will ever be the ones to sell the first copper, that will be one of the big boys.

Well I've refrained on commenting on your never ending rants over the last week, but seeing as you think my comments kill you I'd like to say that after the umpteenth time you posted almost the same thing yours have bored me near to death. We all get you side of things and agree to a certain extent but give it a rest please. I've never seen somebody trash a share in which they have a substantial holding as much as you have in the last week.
I used to regard you as a valued poster on here, lets hope that regard returns.

I think the same way, it's a good business model, buy up several smaller operations, put them under one umbrella with MC of say £500m and a bigger fish will come along and buy a profit making diverse portfolio without have to do the hard work themselves.

The BOD of I3E don't operate like that I'm afraid, the SP will do what it will, they don't try and bolster it with strategically issued RNS's. Well they haven't so far anyway, any RNS will be pure coincidence.

I agree on Smart investor, last year I bought some shares through Primary Bid and they were so slow crediting them to my account I missed selling them and buying into another share I held as it was obvious it was going heading north.
I phoned them up and they compensated me to the tune of the profit I would have earned. How many brokers would do that ?

Down 5% in Toronto, I'll wait for nearer 11p and then add 50% more.
If it doesn't happen I'm not too bothered.

On a different subject, in the event of an offer for the North Sea assets instead of a F/O, what do investors here think it would be worth ?
I have a feeling we are becoming more a UK based Canadian asset company and the North Sea will be sold to fund Canadian assets that give a quicker return.

And they're all running in the wrong direction as they approach the first fence....

Regarding the placing, I've decided to take the view that time was of the essence and by the time a debt funding/placing mash up was organised somebody else would have bought the asset.
A little like seeing a car for sale at a bargain price on Autotrader and quickly borrowing the money from a friend to buy it instead of waiting days for your bank to decide if they will grant you a loan.
In this leaky world of business any approach to a finance house may have brought it to the unwanted attention of a competitior with instant funds.
Also in business, sometimes you have to upset some people for the greater good, I think this is an example of it.
We would all like to have seen the SP nearer 20p, we will have to wait a little longer and it's more certain now than it was before IMO.
You have to break eggs to make a cake.
