The sale price has to be double figures, surely? It's a no brainer to stick with your shares and hold them very close to your chest. If you have any spare funds then very tempting to top-up. Get in before the wider market learns of the news. There will be a number of news articles later on today in the press I suppose, so people will be all over this one like a rash.

Yes everybody just hang on in there and wait for the next bit of news. This is when you ideally need to hold on to your precious shares, sit back and wait for the offer. I suspect it will be multiples of the current share price. Stay resolute and don't lose your nerve.

I always knew what we had was incredibly valuable, but I guess it depends on who wants it the most. The Russians or Chinese? Whoever has the deepest pockets. Somebody on this bb will be able to predict the value. Maths was never my strong subject at school!

Wowzers!!! Great news eh guys and gals?! Looks like we could be sold then? This news has come out of the blue. I have been invested here for 5.5. years, so it will be well worth the wait if we should sell for many more multiples of the current share price. Share price has gone up today already. Market needs to catch-up on the importance of this news. What will happen next then? We go into suspension and then offers are made etc?

PNE - even Malcy who is an Oil and Gas expert asked why they hadn't done any 3D seismic. I'd rather trust him that you. No offence. Believe what you want to believe with regard to life above a chip shop. It has its perks. Never judge a fritter by its batter content.

Oh and another thing. Frank James Smith is a decent bloke. I have met him and have chatted with him many times. He may not be invested here but he unlike many of us had the balls to sell out when he saw things erode away here. Most of us are left stranded waiting and hoping to get our money back, mainly out of greed. Frank invests in gold companies now anyway. HUM, CORA are his play things for now and in time I suspect he'll do well with his investments.

You are in a minority if you want to see more drilling by these amateurs. I say give somebody else a go at finding the gas i.e. sell the asset / company. We have scratched around in the sand for long enough IMHO and without much luck. Tendrara requires a multi drill campaign by a company with more time, deeper pockets, better rigs and some 3D seismic deployed over the drill sites before poking the drill bit in the ground, which is something we didn't commit to. I don't buy BM's comment about the fact that 3D seismic wouldn't help and that you'd only know what's down there until you poke the drill bit in the ground. Rubbish is what I say to that. It was because they didn't want to spend the money on 3D seismic. Simples. Grow a pair mate and stop sitting on the fence. Parsons needs to deliver us a result by year end so we can put this debacle to bed.

Jobbs, disagree. We ARE all stranded including yourself. I suspect that your share price average is higher than where the current share price sits? Therefore, using your own thought process, you should sell-up. Or are you like me and many others in that you are prepared to take the gamble. The answer is that you are prepared to take the gamble. So actually, you are just like me regardless of your average. In Ponkey's case, he is very fortunate to still be in profit. I'd take the profit on Monday AM and retain my 3p average. That's all I'm saying. He may be prepared to take the gamble too, but why take it when he has already made loads of money from investing and trading in SOU? He'll one bag his investment and he'll never know what it's like to be in negative territory, which the vast majority of us are sat in.

Yes, the old romantic in me still believes there is an outside chance that I may see my money back. Any profit would of course be welcomed. I've come this far so am willing to take the gamble. Ponkey could top slice, take some profit whilst still retaining his 3p average but with less shares.

I am stranded like many others, waiting.....hoping.....that I'll see my money back.
I'm not one for throwing in the towel and would rather lose my money then admit defeat and take a huge paper loss. Hence loss. I'm also man enough to deal with the loss unlike some on here who jeopardise their personal relationships.

I hear what you say, Ponkey, but many people invested their hard earned money on the back of what JP et al were saying at the various investor events and fireside chats etc.....myself included. What has happened in layman's terms is that the share price has dropped from beneath us and has in a way left us stranded with relatively high share price averages, hoping that one day soon we will at least get our money back. Any profit would of course be a bonus, but many with averages above 50p don't hold much hope of ever seeing their dosh again given the current share price.

If what you say is true and you have a circa 3p average then why oh why didn't you cash your chips in when the price was 100p? You must have lost tens of thousands of pounds out of pure greed.....and yet you have the gall to come on here and dictate to people how they should behave. You must surely appreciate the frustration and disappointment that exists right now? It's palpable and that's because we have been let down by Parsons and our lives are worse off because of it. My advice to you is to sell up before it's too late. Take the money before it goes on the news of us going long.
