Like it or lump it, so many PI's are trapped here due to having higher share price averages. Currently, anything above the 5p mark is where one is "trapped" but spare a thought for those with averages above 40p,50p,60p,70p,80p or if you're Shaungreen then £1.10. Some will say that nobody is "trapped" because you have the power to hit the 'sell' button and move-on, but nobody likes to admit defeat and take a loss. Not when Billy and Benny need Christmas presents purchased from Santa this year.

You are right though: should we stumble upon a major gas discovery, then we are back in the driving seat again. People will probably want to pile-in here, assuming we haven't delisted off AIM by then. They will have to keep BM in his position because there is probably more drilling to come next year and into 2021, but there is little point keeping JJ as our holding will be a synthetic one. JP will stay on as long as he needs to I suppose.

Malcy will do anything for a pie. However, JP also confirmed in an email reply to an investor yesterday, that he also has the value of SOU at around the 19p mark give or take a couple of pence off that figure. So you have heard it from Malcy and more importantly, Parsons. I think there was an article released by another company who also quoted this figure, but not 100% sure who it was. I think the share price should recover somewhat, but only if sentiment improves via our CEO talking to us and reassuring us that things are moving in the right direction despite people's obvious frustration at not getting back a juicy dividend in time for Chrimbo. At the very, very least, I thought we'd get around 40p-50p for the EM assets, but as it turned out, we got no special dividend, which I am still feeling disgusted about. Not even 5p or 10p a share. Nothing back from the company at all for years and years of loyalty and enduring this rollercoaster ride.

No Gekko. It was just another cheeky £1k top-up. Those EUA winnings, I should have chucked back into EUA when the price retreated back down to 2p. I may have missed the boat now over there so the rest of the profit is just sat in my ISA.

JJ is leaving next February and not with immediate effect. We won't need him thereafter, so it is probably a wise move. Besides, JP has an accountancy background and can at least add-up to 10. He could always borrow Shaungreen's wonky abacus if he wants to make the figures look sexy. JJ is going to need from now until next February to locate the back door at SOU HQ anyway. What with those wandering eyes of his. He'll be going round and round in circles and up and down the stairs as his eyes fail to lock on to the fire escape door.

There's some truth in what Eric has said. Nobody has commented on what I said last night either. The comment I made that I reckon we will probably delist off AIM at some point next Spring and all of our assets / monies will be transferred into a holdings vehicle. That's maybe why SoundNewCo is there, looming larger and larger in the background. SoundNewCo has Limited Company status too. Would we still need to be an AIM listed company if our holding is a synthetic one? Somebody out there will hopefully be able to answer this as my knowledge in company law is very thin indeed. We may well get an annual dividend for the next 10 years. That is why JP needs to speak to us and explain where he sees us 6 months, 12 months from now. Surely we need to know some level of detail before we are asked to vote on this deal. Nobody wants to be shafted over a barrel again and agree to a deal that suddenly changes its spots and we end up in stickier waters. At the moment, people are suggesting that they will vote down the deal, probably just out of sheer frustration at SOU and JP and a deal that appears to many, on the face of it, as a bad one. That's why we need to all be singing off the same song sheet and understand what the deal represents now and going forward in time, assuming it is signed. I appreciate JP may not be able to divulge all of the fine detail for confidentiality reasons and because the deal is currently "non-binding". However, a summary and explanation of the salient points wouldn't go amiss at what has now become a very fragile and delicate juggling act.

The commentators have us valued at around 17p-19p, but the market, due to poor sentiment, has us paddling around at the 5p mark right now. Hence why Parsons needs to inject some positivity and get a video interview arranged so that we can hear why this deal is a supposed good one in the eyes of our CEO. I haven't seen or heard from him for months and months and if he really cares about our welfare, then he should show himself.

It's got down to the stage whereby certain investors like ChipButty are only holding onto a slither of shares so that they can punch him in the face at an upcoming SOU investor event. I know it's fast approaching the pantomime season, but we are better than that, surely? Your fist would slip-off his face anyway, Chippy! That's why he wears so much hair gel. Hehe!

Further to my recent comments, Parsons needs to emerge from his underground bunker, come out of hiding and to show his greasy face to his not so adoring PI's. He needs to get an interview arranged with Andrew over at Proactive or Justin over at V O X, or indeed both. He needs to explain why he thinks this so called deal is worth shouting about and what he hopes it will deliver for we PI's.

It's only normal and indeed human nature to attack someone or something that you don't like, but until we all fully understand what this deal means and we are all singing off the same song sheet, then I think we should all try and calm down a bit. Believe me, I am angry and frustrated right now, but I think we must try and calm ourselves down. Not all is lost here. Far from it. It's not as if we have run out of money and are looking to delist off AIM. We will have money coming to us, paid in tranches assuming the deal is approved by shareholders and signed-off in Q1 next year. May I remind you that we will also have a "free carry" for any exploration / drilling that takes place, which I suspect will probably happen towards the end of next year, maybe sooner. And should we be fortunate at that juncture in time to stumble upon a multi-TCF discovery, then suddenly we become the next best thing to a spam fritter.

Everybody please calm down. Stop bickering with each other and let's try and club our efforts and help each other get through this challenging time. There are undoubtedly many that are trapped in this share with life changing amounts of money whose only hope is that they will see their money returned to them again. Spare a thought for those with averages that exceed 50p. Stop scrapping amongst yourselves like pack hounds. Each of us was responsible for our own investments and so we have to live by our choices and face the music. Nuff said.

Aren't we on a "free carry" in terms of any further exploration, which includes drilling? JP has already confirmed this in an email reply today. Your assumption that we will have to pay 23% is incorrect. Free carry means free carry under the terms of this deal and maybe why our ownership has been referred to as, "synthetic." However, I would welcome a definition from JP as to what his understanding is of a "synthetic ownership." I am worried that we will delist from AIM and become a Ltd company, which is where SoundNewCo could come into play. Also, playing devil's advocate, if/when a change of ownership is announced once the deal is signed (deadline is February 14th, 2020), could this in-turn open the back door for Parsons et al to exit with their severance payments that were discussed yesterday? I will remind people that JP would qualify for 18 months worth of salary, JJ would get 12 months and BM would receive 8 months. It may well be that they are going to sit it out until February next year and then bail, leaving us stuck between a rock and a hard place and this so-called, "synthetic ownership."

Yeah, I have just noticed that big buy late on today and the other big one too. Somebody is showing confidence at these levels, which is encouraging.

I don't want Parsons to resign or get the boot from the Board. I want him to stay and suffer until the end like we have been made to do before we see our money back. Why should he get an easy exit after gouging on millions of quid while we contemplate life about chip shops and carefully selected park benches? There's no justice in that. I wonder what wine Trellis is drinking tonight? White wine vinegar I reckon. That should get him pickled. Boom, boom!

BM couldn't find gas even if we Chuckles farted in his mush. He'd still look over our shoulders to see where the stench was coming from. Too busy thumbing through the sandwich selection at his local M&S to know what gas smells like. If you got all of us investors in the room and provided us with a can of baked beans each and a clump of cabbage, we'd produce more gas than what Sound has discovered in recent times. One molecule Mitchener has a lot to answer for. Very unimpressed with what he has done since joining SOU. Should have left it to Luca and his missing baby to sniff out the gas instead.

I refer to our very own resident, Partridge of course. You'll have to read his past posts to see what squeaks he makes. I dare say his life expectancy will surpass Christmas Day, or Boxing Day at a push. Partridge curry is something I'd be prepared to sample, but not in a rush. Seems we may have been oversold today based on the monies that will hopefully be coming our way next year should the deal be passed. It is incredibly frustrating that it wasn't the sort of deal we were all hoping for and not in the desired timescale either (I was sort of hoping that things would have been concluded by "year end.") Nevertheless, Parsons DOES please need to come out of his hiding hole and speak to us. Some of us haven't seen him or heard his voice for a very long time and the very least he can do is address us all and explain what the deal means in layman's terms. People have asked all sorts of questions following-on from today's RNS, which demonstrates a need to fully understand what it means for our investments and of course for those who are thinking about jumping on board at these low share price levels. It's important that we still have buying interest at this low share price level, coupled with people not panic selling out of fear, or worse still, a lack of understanding for what the deal actually represents and its associated value for us. I could have easily hit the 'sell' button today, but until I fully get my head around the fine detail of the deal, I'm not going to make any rash decisions. Yes, like most of us, I am down on my "investment" but am prepared to hold and see what happens next year and beyond until "First Gas." I wanted all of this to conclude and be over with just as much as the next man / woman, but in the context of having poor drill results at 9 and 10, this was kind of inevitable and hence why for weeks the vibe I was getting was that we were bound to "go long." I had one last, ill-timed gamble thinking that we may at least get something for our EM assets and what I thought would definitely exceed my share price average and definitely my brother's, but alas I was mistaken. I never saw farming-down Tendrara as an option. I'd love to hear what the Moroccan Government has to say about this so-called deal. Jacklevi was adamant that the MG wouldn't entertain us going long because of the in-country need for gas and what we all thought would ideally be unlocked by one of the super major's. Hmm....not sure what to think but I guess we'll have plenty of time to mull over the detail.

I wouldn't like to see what would happen if Parsons was left in a room with Chipnputt, N4apound and Bongabob. Limbless comes to mind.

I will vote 'yes' to the deal on the grounds that the alternative is far, far worse cos we will be left with nothing. If we do manage to discover the motherlode at say Te-11, how fitting and well deserved would that be?! We need to go after the multi TCF wells in the Palaeozoic i.e. Te-11. Discovering a multi-TCF gas play would change the game here big time.

Your challenge by year end is to turn Bongabob into a UKIP supporter. You can then give him squatting rights on your front lawn. I think he's envious of those views you have from your verandah of the Sussex Downs. Ain't that quaint!

On further reflection, surely it would have made sense to have awarded loyal shareholders some sort of dividend e.g. say 15p per share? That way, it could have avoided the drop-off that we saw in the price today and could have at least returned some cash to us for what has been years and years of waiting, hoping, believing then unbelieving. This deal in the most part protects those that have penned it and not us shareholders. They will still draw a fat wage and use our money to go after 1-2 more drills, for which there may be no or little success. Even if it is, we will be left with just a 14% share. I have to say, I am feeling rather doubtful that this so-called deal does anything amazing for we PI's. Very disappointed still, sat here above the chippy with the longest face I have ever pulled. Good people placed their trust in this company and we have been duped. I hope his future companies and ventures all go down the pan. Echo, CORO, C4E etc. He doesn't deserve anything more than misery. What a dream killer.

We have a current value of around 18p before any further exploration upside, so hopefully after a bit more time and further questions and answers from Parsons, we may come to accept that this deal is probably the best outcome given our failures at Te-9 and Te-10. I thought we'd at least get something for selling the EM assets but I wasn't expecting a farm-down of it. I know Testpack had mentioned it in the past and fair play to him for calling it right. I didn't see this exact scenario occurring though and thought it would be far more straightforward and that we'd get a reasonably good outcome for the asset sale. What Parsons musn't do now is continue this radio silence until February. A pre-recorded statement from him that we could dial into and listen to would at least be something to give us the reassurance we need. We haven't heard his voice now for a number of months, which is worrying as there has grown a disconnect between the SOU BOD and the PI. It's down to James to breach that gap now and show his human side. Crude? Have a word with him please via telephone. He needs to communicate to us all and not fire-off random replies to emails that only individuals will see. He needs to reassure us that the deal they have proposed is good for us. That may go some way to calming down the share price volatility I think. Today, the share price has taken an uppercut and perhaps has been oversold. Hopefully it will gain some momentum but only if Parsons manages expectations going forward and gives us some reassurances that it isn't as bad as some people on here are making out when you go through the fine detail e.g. free carry until first gas etc.

If this is the best scenario he can get us as the so called "deal-maker" then shame on him. More like the "meal-maker" because he has made one hell of a meal out of this process. How many hundreds of thousands of pounds has he paid himself and his buddies at the expense of PI's? And still the excuse of a man has the gall to continue on for yet another few months worth of radio silence. You couldn't make it up if you tried. The richer are clearly getting richer and the poor, poorer. What a dream-killer he has become. I hope he is proud of himself and can sleep at night in the knowledge that he has screwed over thousands of hardworking, decent, honest people in the pursuit of money, power and greed. The worst of human nature stares all of us in the face. I had his ticket a long time ago anyway, but thought there may just be an outside chance that he could at least get us 50p I mean, was that too much to ask in light of his, "many, many multiples" and "financial legacy" statements? I thought we'd at least get 50p for our efforts with the hope that it would be closer to £1. Even the most hardened naysayers on this bb thought that 15p-25p was probably achievable. Nah, I'm sick with this company and deal and am contemplating exiting with a huge loss in an attempt to recoup some of my losses elsewhere.
