I remember long runs of a miserable low price when this share was forced down before. It came back up. Each time it happens we are that much closer to the only date of any importance - 2028. As I have said before, the gold hasn't disappeared. It's still in the ground. Any yield figures at the moment are from Telfer, and therefore a bonus while we are moving towards 2028, and if people are grown up enough to invest in shares, they should be able to differentiate between the two.

And Matty, since you mentioned maternal grandfather - I'm a grandmother today, WOO WOO. And my mum is Dowager Duchess great grandmother, ha ha.

Rotherby1, ' I do not understand why 'so called' investors expect to have a share go up in price on a day to day basis.' Indeed. It's good a share goes down as well as up. I think perhaps a lot of shareholders hold their shares passively, waiting for the 'big event' - the one big profit. But a good profit can be made by lots of smaller transactions. I am an active shareholder. I watch shares at opening. A share spikes, dips, then spikes a second time. I never sell/buy in the first fifteen minutes. I sell a few on the second spike and buy back more shares on the second dip, thus increasing my shareholding. The 2nd dip doesn't have to be on the same day. It's not a race. I also keep sale/buy fees in mind. This is not advice, peeps, it's just what I do, when I feel like it, when the difference between 2nd spike and 2nd dip is sufficient.

Shareholders don't actually lose or make any money until they decide to cash the shares in.

This reads as though you think you will be getting an extra 1 share for every 20 shares you had before consolidation. Divide your original number of shares by 20 and that is the amount that should be showing. If incorrect, contact your platform as it should definitely be showing now.

Oh dear, I'm going to have to differ on ii. I've always had super fast trades with them. One time, they didn't have a share on their list that I wanted to buy, so I asked them why they didn't have that share. They asked for the ticker, added it to their list, and told me I could buy those shares through them, so I did.

We shareholders will continue buying shares from where we get them now. For example, if you buy from ii, you will carry on doing that.

'Greatland Resources' is the holding/parent company of Greatland Gold. You need a parent company when there are multiple companies under the same umbrella, in this case, one in the UK and one in Australia.

Think of Word. If you have two documents on the same subject you put them in one folder and give the folder a new name. But for day to day business, ie, buying and selling shares, you will go to GGP or the Australian one.

So - nothing to do, wait and see, and nobody has a crystal ball as to future share price, so may I suggest ignoring anything that sounds like advice on 'buy now'.
