Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
....is there anything to stop ABM for reattaining its value pre-26th September, i.e. £1 + per share? Now that would be something to celebrate.
Looking at the Balance Sheet the Trade and Other Receivables was £67m compared to Borrowings of £44m. The company is solvent makes profits so what is the problem. Yes the gold price has gone down but is there a permanent diminution in value? Even the most vociferous doomsayers are predicting gold to increase value in the mid to long-term. So why the long faces as regards ABM? Are the banks so against lending to business, contrary to what they are supposed to be doing given the stimulus they have received, that they would sooner see a profitable business broken up than help sort out some working capital. It seems madness and hopefully the recent sp increase shows that others think the same.
I think that Chris' early appointment is a good sign. It shows his keenest and enthusiasm to get on with the job. As regards Colin's appointment is it me or is anyone else concerned that of the 5 directorates listed 3 of the companies were either the subject of a Voluntary Strike-Off or the subject of a dissolution? Is Colin the right person to secure the company's future or is he likely to advise the company shut up shop and sell its baubles? Pessimistic or overly cautious? Be interested in your thoughts.
Agree Trigger so I've made a punt. Once they get their debt re-arranged what's changed? Miners are hit by the value of precious metals as would companies dealing with the end products. As people begin to lose faith in monetary policy they can only turn to precious metals to preserve their wealth.
It just occurred to me that considering the large sale before me that I was surprised to get the (relatively) good price that I did. I think the phrase "Watch this space" is particularly pertinent.
Well I'm out. Not necessarily because I don't believe in the company. Just out of boredom rather than anything else. Made a small gain and away I go to hopefully more lucrative pastures. I'll be watching and cursing if Dubuary is right and looking with interest if Sharky is. GL to those still in.
Well at least something has happened in the world of Byotrol and the RNS on the acquisition, or perhaps consolidation of a company it parts owns, has brought about a flurry of activity...except it hasn't! Early risers will have managed to get out at 6.4p but for the rest of us it's back to a selling price of 6.1p so it looks like I'm stuck here for some time.
I've been distracted by TVZ so was somewhat surprised (and delighted) that this is moving up. Speculation or some good news? Hope it's the later, better for the company and sp in long run.
There seems to be a number of big buys today. Perhaps Coley is right about the RNS for Monday. Let's hope its good news, someone certainly thinks so.
I'm showing a profit! Might only be £8 but the fact that the sp is moving upwards is encouraging. Whether it can get anywhere near its past heights is another story! Good luck to all, hope this isn't just a small blip.
When you start investing you always see the statement that "the value of your investment may fall as well as rise" but it didn't warn about being stuck in the doldrums hoping for any change, just to break the tedium. It's got so boring I'm might have to watch a Spurs game.......nah, could never get that bad. I've been enjoying the banter from Sharky and Luke at least with you both having strong but differing views there is not the impression that this stock is being pumped up (if only!). Does anyone know why the sp is so depressed? Bad management? Loss of markets? Inferior Products? If it's any comfort I've noticed that in the past three years there has been a large share price increase in the Autumn. Historic data can not be taken as a guide for future sp performance but could it be cyclical with more people worried about getting germs and colds in colder months? Just an idea. What do you think?
Liked your post Fossy made me wish I understood more of the process. I'm new to this so I don't know if publishing a Operational Update and Newsletter is a usual occurence. If it isn't then I would imaging that it is a good thing and says that the company has done something which it feels good about. My average is only 1.39 so I don't have to wait as long but as someone said it's only money (although technically until it's sold it's not even that). Good luck all
Clayey soils, delays in extracting copper and "Winter is Coming". Perhaps that explains the sp jitters. I would guess that this is much expected from the Benkala site. The new guy seems to know his stuff though and there were some positives in the report on how they intend to increase production. Does anyone feel there is any need to panic or, like me, you just feel that we are in for a long haul.
