Sadly, today's trades doesn't fit the recent narrative. If there's optimism ahead of the AGM, it's not reflected in the trades.

The 'real spread' is 0.8077 / 0.85 (the 'ask' is the 'mid', but the 'mid' has improved since the 300 & 500k trades.

Roll-overs are usually seconds apart - the two recent 500k trades, were some three minutes separated.

i'm not saying you're right bubble, i'm not saying you're wrong...

...but it's hard not to have sympathy with anyone who suggests this 'number-of-shares-traded' - being an indicator (such as 1 share traded indicating an rns), as being anything other than total *******s. surely there are easier ways (e-mails perhaps - or picking up the phone maybe?). i might buy 6000 bt shares as a 'pi', but that's hardly likely to confuse market makers or alter their behaviour in some way, is it?

do you have a link to all these codes and their meanings - i've tried to 'google' it - without much joy.

Half of the DSLAMs installed in the UK at the time the seven year clock began ticking, were Huawei - the other half being Israeli (ECI). A few Nokia and Adtran DSLAMs have been introduced in more recent years, but very little of this Chinese 'street furniture' has been removed - or the exchange equipment that drives them.

It would be interesting to know how much Huawei kit resides in US telephone exchanges, after Donald said it should be banned during his first term.
