They offered 17p when the share price was 16.5p, the offer was made after the announcement of putting the company up for sale and the share price had already risen!

Why on earth would anyone offer 39p when the current offer is 17p and the share price around 18p. If another offer comes it will likely be 20-22p, if not M&P will likely win the company with a 20p cash bid! If the market was expecting an offer in the 30s then the share price would be way above 18p.

You have to have some sympathy for Debs board, If the company is taken over by the bond holders and taken private they will likely be paid tens of millions to turn the company round and bring it back to market, MA is only offering them a P45!
